My dad and my friend are my favorite people to fish with. Me and my friend really encourage each other and always help each other out. When I was young, I only used hard baits and he only used soft baits so we got each other into different techniques.

Use my brother's Endurance flipping stick from time to time. Sweet rod! Its an 8' Heavy but he got a ridiculous deal on it. He got it for $120 off TW . I should have got one too thinking back on it.

I know Lew's Reels are amazing but how are their rods? Im looking at the Lew's American Hero Speed Stick Spinning Rod in 7ft M action for weightless plastics and was wondering if anyone has used/heard anything about them. Its $70 and helps out a veteran program which is great! Thanks Daniel

For stream fishing you will foul hook alot of the salmon, but it is next to impossible to land them because you can not turn their heads.

I lost 30lber too a few weeks ago! Thrashed in the shallows wraping up my line in the tip and broke my rod! My 10 6' is now just a 10' What streams are you fishing?

Salmon fishing is great right now! Using skien or egg sacks under a balsa or plastic float is a great way to catch them! Best time to go is a few days after rain for stream fishing. Going early in the morning is also a good idea especially to claim a spot on the hole. I fish on the ontario side of Lake Ontario but i assume the Rodchester side shares the same patterns. Steelhead and brown trout is also picking up!

I'd go with silent since the bass can see the bait fine. I like rattling for murky of stained water.
