I posted this because I was surprised about how WELL it works. I don't know why it works nor do I think it makes line unbreakable or any such nonsense. I liked the product so I posted so other skeptics might try it too. I thought it was expensive until I bought and found out what the fuss is about. Try it or don't. I did and like it.

Mine is an old 5'6" pistol grip Abu that was given to me and topped with a Quantum reel that was also given to me. Works like a champ. and the best part was the price.

Yeah.....me too. I DID bite on that one. Good bait, have nothing against it other than the fact that of all the time's I've thrown it, I've had one blow up. Zero fish boated I used the KVD on that, too. Didn't see a ton of difference but I've only got 8 lb on my spinning reel. Can't hurt.

Give the KVD a try. I think I paid 19 bucks or so for the bigger bottle. It's worth it. I was truly amazed

Spool bought last year. Just used it to respool 3 reels.

Let me start by saying that I never said I was a rocket surgeon. It took a couple of years to find out that green pumpkin Senko's actually do work because I figured, "What do those BassResource guys know? My water is green. A bass would never see that worm". So see...I'm kinda hard headed. I've also never believed in "Miracle Lotions, Potions, or Notions". Until today, I guess. I finally broke down and bought some KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. Just finished treating all my gear. WOW! Holy smokes, does this stuff work! 12 lb Big Game is like butter. Fluoro just wilts and even my 50 lb Mega8 KastKing Braid is smooth as silk now. Baits just fly off my rods. I can't believe it took me this long. Well...yeah, I can. *see above* Glad I got the big bottle. This stuff is amazing.

I throw the old Timber Tigers a bunch. The ones I throw are deeper divers than this. I like them and have caught a bunch of bass on them.

Jigs. Got tons of them. Never throw them. Never had much luck. I KNOW they catch fish. Just have ZERO confidence in them

I'll mention them. I have 4 of the old school PQ's in my lineup and I love them. Built like a battle tank and have only gotten better with age. I service them but they are all beat up and look like hell. They have never let me down

Here we go again! There is no right answer and it doesn't matter. I switch. Cast right, reel right with reel in left hand. Both Spinning and BC. Never once lost a fish because of that. Happens without me thinking of it. IF you do it a different way. Great. If you think I'm wrong. Great. Do it the way you do it or train yourself to do it differently. I tried, DID miss fish and stopped because I don't care how someone else does it or what is "correct". Kinda that way about most things in life, really.

I have no thoughts about them. I don't own any and have no need to. If I was fishing water that were appropriate for that style of fishing I might think differently. How another person spends his money is of no concern to me

I C&R Bass. I have no issue with anyone legally keeping anything for the frying pan. Some folks need to and I respect that. I consider myself fortunate that I do not NEED to but I know I can if I HAVE to.

Work just fine? Yes. Would faster be better? Yes.

Step one...Purchase Pflueger President 6930. Step Two...Fish and enjoy that you got a reel that will do everything want it to for a long time without breaking your wallet. End of Story

The second one looks like an older Bass Pro Square Bill. Pearl Splatterback. Got one in my tacklebox and caught many bass on it. They are A-ok.
