So I was cleaning a bc reel and accidentally knocked my spool over, it hit the concrete and now it has a small dent in the ring. Will this effect casting?

Quantum smoke, plfuger supreme, shimano symetre. All good reels around your price range. I like the Mitchell pro series a lot cheaper and great feeling reel

I've caught bass with leeches in they mouth before I don't think they were feeding on them more like the leeches were feeding on the bass

Some of the lakes and ponds I fish the shore lines are just filled with algae. How would you guys fish it? And does algae hold oxygen like grass in warmer months? this is thick algae blooms I'm talking about. I've only used frogs on top of it and spinner baits/swim jigs along it.

Straight fluro is fine I use 8lb invisx fishing stocked trout and a small size ball will float my hook and line.

Not sure about flipping and pitching but I use a mh xf with 50lb braid for swim jigs and never had a problem

rod and line, the berkly lighting is a good rod but braided line can only help you out so much. If you get a chance go try out a higher end rod. What I do is head to cabelas or bps. buy a rod and test it out, then return it and wait for it to go on sale if I wanna buy it lol

smaller line diameter then mono, low stretch=more sensitivity, and I heard it's invisible but don't believe it because I've seen bluegill s come up at bite my line lol. Anyways I like it for crank baits, jigs, and finesses stuff like drop shot, shakey head, and Ned rig. also flurocarbon sinks faster then mono or braid.

Lately I've been carrying like 4 packs of fishing line in my back pack. I use them as leaders incase I break off. My question is how do you guys carry yours? I plan on cutting them into lengths but haven't found a way to transport that won't tangle everything up need some help making room for baits lol

all the line unravelled fRom your spool? Never had that happen before. be for you do check you drag and make sure that its thight be for spooling. That's the only reason I can think of why your spool is unravelling after being filled.

Your doing everything right once you put a full spool on there it won't un wrap or if it does only a few foot will come off.

Lol don't press the button till your spool is full. By releasing the spool that soon the line hasn't built up enough memory yet. It still has the 5 inch round memory, causing it to unwrap.

pflugers always confuses me with the reel size lables. I use the 2500 size I think that's a 6930 in pfluger size
