  1. I also like the H20 crankbaits. I had one that I lost on a cast, and found it the next week later still able to be fished. Just had to change the hooks and split rings out
  2. Just wait until you start to buy higher end baitcasters....
  3. I actually like to fish copoly or mono for traps. I used to fish them with braid but the fish would always throw my hooks so easily. 12 lb hybrid is my favorite
  4. I want to do well on my finals lol... a Chronarch would be nice though
  5. I can only wish .. Parents would KILL me if I got another reel.
  6. You'll love the rod. They are an awesome deal for that price

I see you live in Florida....

If you're fishing small ponds, I'd throw a jig out to the deepest water I can reach and slowly drag it back. Could try a shakeyhead too. Some like to throw jerkbaits in the winter but that's not my thing.
  9. Not THAT young lol
  10. This is what I use. Not much, but good enough for me. Diesel 7 ft MH glass Endurance 714 7'1" H Max 683 6'8" MH btw... Endurances are on sale for 120 at TW....
  11. That is true, the water is still soft the last time I checked.
  12. I really want to use mine too but once I get home from school its pretty much dark out, throw in all the schoolwork with finals coming up = no time to fish
  13. What did you use for trailer? Is it a Rage Craw?
  14. The only time I ever had the Alberto fail on me was one of the first times I tied it. I didn't sinch the knot down tight enough, so when I casted the whole thing came undone. After that I never had one break on me. I would get hung up and have to wrap my braid around a tree branch and pull, so I wouldn't cut my fingers. The alberto knot would always come back and the fluoro would've been broken at a knick in the line.
  15. Suspending jerk baits, jigs slowly crawled across bottom
  16. Wow these Siebert jigs are INCREDIBLE. The quality is so amazing, and they're so much cheaper than the ones you buy in store.
  17. I had a friend that got all his guides screwed up with a kid decided to bang guides first onto a table... he wasn't too happy about that, but it still fished fine. But if I had that rod I would exchange it because my ocd can't handle that, lol. I'm sure TW would understand if you called.
  18. For me, I will always catch tons on senkos. Its painfully slow, but if its the only thing they're biting I'll throw it
  19. For flipping 65 is okay. But, if you're not fishing too heavy cover, then I would stick with 50.
