  1. 50 lb will cast significantly farther than 65.
  2. Twice actually. One my knot broke off a floating squarebill so the current brought it back to where I was fishing. Another time I lost a squarebill for 2 weeks, came back and found it wedged between some rocks.
  3. Pick up some Academy CRS squarebills. They are real cheap. I got like 15 for 60 bucks one time.
  4. Zman's are junk. Hooks aren't sharp and the skirt always falls off. I like D&M or Siebert. 3/8 oz with a Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper trailer
  5. Chairs are for the weekend warriors..
  6. I like 12 lb mono (Trilene Big Game). Good amount of stretch for treble hooked lures.
  7. STX's can be found for 139 TP's for 150 Premiers for 199, same as the other two's retail price. May want to take that into consideration
  8. Just a question, have you used any of those rods? I don't think you should comment on them if you haven't used them before. Pertaining to the OP, its really up to you. I vote my Powell Endurance.
  9. Spiderman combo with 65 lb braid, and a 250 slideswimmer.
  10. I have a super tuned Lews TP, worked well even before the supertune for 5 in. senkos. Lots of guys would recommend 50 sized Shimanos if you're around this weight range.
  11. Cast using your wrist instead of your entire arm.
  12. Wacky Senko, All Terrain Skip N Jig
  13. 12 lb hybrid
  14. Every other bait ever made? Lol
  15. Dont have the BB1 but the TP is pretty dang good for jigs
  16. Sounds good if you're fishing with buddies for fun
  17. Frogs are so much fun to to catch fish on. Jigs are 2nd for me because it can be painfully slow sometimes
  18. ABW replied to deep's topic in Fishing Reports
Just curious, what did you use for the foregrip?
  19. "Can I see what you're usin? Oh.. they won't bite a black and blue beaver. Get yourself a green pumpkin one." *walks off* 1 minute later I catch one lol. Another time some lady had a largemouth and showed it to me and said it was a smallie.
  20. The best braid is the one you like most.
  21. To those that use S-Wavers, what rod do you use with the.. 120 size? (13/16 oz) 168 size? (1 & 5/8 oz) 200 size? (3 & 1/2 oz) I watched Matt Allen's video on S-Wavers, but what other rods could I use instead of a Dobyns? I've seen guys recommend the Okuma Guide Select, but which model would be optimal for the 168's? Also, you guys think I could get away with throwing the 120 on a 4 power jig rod that's rated 1/4-1 oz?
