  1. Here in Indiana they're having four days of fishing for any Indiana resident. No fishing license needed. http://www.eregulations.com/indiana/fishing/free-fishing-days/
  2. Already got one but I really want to try a Shimano
  3. Siebert Arky Jig 3/8 oz Siebert Brush Jig 3/8 oz Rage Craw Rage Chunk Siebert Fogy 3/8 Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper Spro Bronzeye Frog Red Eye Shad Zoom Lizards Rage Menace Zoom Ol Monster Just adding a little more to what the others already have
  4. On Academy's website they're on sale for $159.99. Have the money to buy one or two but my parents refuse
  5. Still confused on the 5 and 6 inch senkos... how?
  6. Things are getting more advanced I see.
  7. Not ideal, but if I only had that rod I'd try to throw them and make it work.
  8. When I do an overhead I always try to release as soon as my hands get past my head
  9. Lew's Speed Spool is a workhorse
  10. I hope you meant to write this in the unspooling line off a reel thread lol
  11. Also have a 714 here too and I use as the same things the others listed... If the price tag on that rod is around 100 bucks I'd jump on that either way, whether I needed it or not.

Where did you pick these bad boys up?
  14. Are you talking about the $100 speed spool or the Laser MG ($79)?
  15. 1. Senko 2. Jig Used to fish senkos ALL the time...
  16. Koppers frogs work well for me. Trim about 1/2 - 1 inch off the legs if you want them to walk. Make sure you use braided line too
  17. The TP is great for lighter baits. If I were doing some heavy cranking, frogging, or anything that requires a long bomb cast, I'd get the BB1-Pro.
  18. 50 lb braid may seem a little overkill, but that is fine because it'll be more manageable than your lighter braids that will dig into the spool.
  19. That is pretty cool. I have never heard of this company before
  20. Let the cover you're fishing dictate the power of rod. Keep in mind, it is better to have a overly powerful rod rather than be outgunned.
  21. I'd recommend you spend more money towards the rod. With a bottom contact bait like a jig, you want the rod to be as sensitive as possible.
