  1. Interesting, I have a curado and like it alot. I had a notion the citica was "too good to be true" type deal going on
  2. Going to order some today, thanks
  3. Lol the only thing i am trying this fall/winter is a speed clip on my jerk baits.
  4. Despite my attempts to improve the gear he chooses to use, he remains true to his go tos.
  5. I also have been throwing assassin. Not too bad
  6. I have an elite tech and its not bad. No problems with light carolina rig bites or jig bites in deep water. The guides do seem light though.
  7. I fish regularly with a guy that uses snap swivels. We fish in PA for smallies alot near the juniata river. I out fish him every single time. Mostly bc of technique, but the rest i attribute to those swivels. When 2 people throw the same bait and 1 constantly out does the other there are only so many things it can be. He is an older guy and his hands dont have the dexterity for alot of bait changes. The snaps allow him to fish the lures he wants when he wants but they imo cost him alot of bites.
  8. Other than toothy critter applications this seems unnecessary.
  9. A guy in my club got 3 for 17lbs last Saturday on a war eagle spinnerbait. Def hot fall bait
  10. I had a hula stick deform and stick to my work bench. Have not had a single problem prior to that. I just follow the basic rules with elaztech. No direct sun, no sustained high temps, no mixing with regular baits. Hula stick on a 1/10th head caught me a bunch this year.
  11. White rage craw on a spot remover colored swim jig around lilys and sparse grass. Yikes! Caught alot of fish on that this year.
  12. Guy in my club had 3 for 17lbs today on the susquehanna. I did not fair as well
  13. Hit em on sale and its a steal
  14. I have fished lh pqs for a few years and every one has been great. Easy to clean, always hold up to a beating. A tad heavy, but solid.
  15. I have a tournament this Saturday on the susquehanna, anyone been up that way recent?
  16. That's a tasty find
  17. Nice fish fellas
  18. YES! Thats the one. Its a good deal
  19. Try a jr razor beetle from deep creek tackle on you swing head, and i agree with WRB. The better crig has 1 knot. You can find sliders that do a great job, and you can move it with pliers to adjust length. Does no damage to your line, only 1 knot.
  20. Seeing the positive feedback on what a cool build this was should inspire and help keep that mojo flowing. Looks awesome. Cant wait to see whats next.
  21. If its cold out that lever makes things alot easier on you. Its great that to this point it was a mystery to you bc most who have had a boat with that type throttle control had cussed that lever to all that is holy a time or two.
