Sunline Assassin
I used it for the 1st time saturday and was impressed. Soft, slick, sensitive. I did notice super small frays around the knot though. Really small but i could see them.....Is this new stuff for sunline? I have not fished all the popular ones, shooter, sniper, ect.

Maryland's Who's who!
The sassafras river was hell today. Managed one 4 plus. 10 boats that we knew of and 6 total bass. We got a few nice stripers as well but it wasnt worth 20mph all day and gusts to 30 regular.

Maryland's Who's who!
Do you typically carry only 1 rod? I have fished BH from shore a bunch of times so I know its tough getting around. Sorry about the break off bro

Chatterbait/spinnerbait Rod
I like my 7-1 MF ***, just enough backbone and a softer tip. It can be very accurate or throw it for distance. In heavier cover though I like MHF. 12 lb FC on the M and 14 FC on the MH

That place has some nice fish in it, locating them was challenging for sure

Maryland's Who's who!
1st trip here and it was humbling. I got a 3plus off the boat dock on my 4th cast last Saturday before we even got the boat in the water. After we put the boat in i got 2 2plus and another 3lber. I thought it was going to be on for the week. I was able to catch some fish but I really had to work for em. For being on vacation it was pretty stressful.

Maryland's Who's who!
I fished anna for the last week and it is a tough cookie. It has solid fish in it but they are hard to locate. Swing heads, jigs, and shakey heads were the go tos

Lake Anna - May 11-16
It's a cool place. Very challenging. It fishes like 4 or 5 different lakes depending on where you are. Caught a few more today but had to Carolina rig to get a bite. 10 to 15 ft of water and had to be around stumps and shells. One more crack at it 2mrw morning and then packing up. Oh and Chris and bill over at fish tales are awesome guys. If i didn't wanna fish every minute i can here i would sit and talk to those guys for hours.

Lake Anna - May 11-16
Caught a few today up near tims restaurant. 15 ft of water dragging swing heads with plastics. Again not an easy day. The fish are not grouped up at all that I can find. Hunt and peck.

Lake Anna - May 11-16
No problem, today was tough as well. I eeked out a limit in middlepond. 2 fish on the biggest boat dock by the bridge. 1 fish in 25ft at busbee island and 2 more in the canal coming back from pond 2 to pond 1. Going to the cold side 2mrw. Water Temps over here are 88 to 91 and we are not seeing much to be happy about. My best friend has been a half oz jig and calling it a hot bait would be overstating by a long shot.

Lake Anna - May 11-16
We have done ok to this point. We have found a few fish 2 to 3lbs cruising the shoreline. We have not been able to establish an off shore bite yet and really have not seen anything on the graph worth stopping on. The shorelines are really void of covr and the boat docks are only producing small fish. We are going to run out of our area and through one of the connecting canals and check out some new water this evening

Lake Anna - May 11-16
We arrived yesterday and after unpacking went to the boat house. I got 2 fish for over 5lbs off the dock on a ned. We put the boat in for 30 min and i got 4 for over 11lbs and broke my H rod boat flipping a 4plus. Day 1 starts Now! If it's anything like yesterday its gonna be a long week with sore ribs and sand paper thumbs.

Fishing With Live Bait
Although I agree, and fish live bait in clear lakes in MD when 1 cove can hold bass, walleyes, and pike anglers spend time making our artificials appear hurt or dying. i.e. the slow fall of a fluke or a weightless senko. When live bait has caught one or 2 fish it gets beat up and stops producing. Putting on a fresh bait can start the action right back up on species mentioned above as well as panfish. Take the live bait away in the same situation and you find yourself trying to fish similar size and close to the same colors as the live bait....and more times than not you are going to fish those baits as wounded or dying. Go figure.

Northeast Angler? How Was (Is) Fishing Summer 2015
Decent year so far in MD and DE. Club stats are 21 fish for 45lbs with 3 tournaments left, and my practice fishing has been great. Lots of practice days with 20 plus bass. This is the 2nd season the swim jig has been real hot for me, and I have developed several other techniques that have been day savers. All in all a good solid season so far. Biggest fish was in April 6.6lbs

Right on, looks like it was a fun outing

Maryland's Who's who!
Nice Lemmons, the one covered in dirt is a little disturbing though. Surely you can find a safer way to handle the nice fish you are catching

Lake Anna - May 11-16
Thanks fluker, I will drop shot if i have to. I will be ned riggin quite a bit as well. I have a feeling the zman hula stick in mud minnow will do well. I would love to catch a few on a jig as well. I am losing sleep with the anticipation. Lol

Wading The Juniata River?
Lots of good spots out of the camp ground....not too sure about season but flip a few rocks over and look for helgermites. They are black and have a nasty set of pinchers. Hook them behind the neck collar and drift it with the current on a split shot rig. Oh and HOLD ON! They whack em hard. For moving baits go with shallow cranks, spinnerbaits, and tubes. Its a good time.

Maryland's Who's who!
Lol i had the same problem a few years back fishing the susquehanna at the juniata. They mash tubes and jerk baits and the average was 3lbs. Super fun stuff

Swim Jigs
I love swim jigs, i have never used on without eyes and i spank em on it. Caught several today on SJs......Makes me wonder though. Next outing i will have one without eyes. If they rock it like they do with eyes i am in lol. I rolled a dirty jigs 5/16th over a log earlier today and one charged out and pasted it in full view.....AWESOME
