8' Jig Rod
You are getting good advice from DTack. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to Dobyns!

Making It Work!
Flash Mob Jr's would be your best bet with 1/4 oz heads. A-rig won't be the best way to catch them on Gville in the spring tho...

Lews Speed Spool
I had a couple crap out on me after a couple years. They were good before that, but there are better deals for your money elsewhere. You can find Curado I's for $135 on the bay and Tatulas for $100 almost anywhere. Those are both better options IMO.

Daiwa Zillion Or Abu Garcia Elite 8
That Xship on Shimanos is something special IMO...

Winter Fishing And Plastic Worms - Why The Disrespect?
Bass feed heavy on shad this time of year. Certain shad die off and are the bass' main meal. That's why cranks, jerkbaits, and swimbaits are more effective this time of year. If you have smallmouth, you can catch them on jigs when the water is cold. Smallies always eat a jig.

You follow her on snapchat too? Can never get enough of Brooke Thomas. Also, this has nothing to do with fishing, but follow Ana Cheri. You're welcome.

Jig Rod Question
If you go Dobyns Champion get a 5 power. I have used a couple KLX's and while I don't think they are more sensitive then the Champ Extreme like Tywithay, I do think they are on the same level and at a lot cheaper price. Also, the KLX is a lot more sensitive than the Champion so in the price range you are looking at I would go with the KLX as well. Or you could get a custom built in the $200 range. If I were buying one right now, which I am (even though I already have two jig rods), I would go custom if you can wait. I have one right now being built on the Rainshadow Eternity blank that's gonna come in around the $200 mark. I also have a c-rig/jig rod being built on the Rainshadow Immortal blank, which will be a little under $200. I have been thoroughly impressed with Rainshadow blanks. Especially against manufactured rods as far as price and quality goes. I like these Rainshadow blanks better than any manufactured rod I have used, which includes almost every brand out there up to the $400 range other than Megabass or G Loomis.

Sunline Reaction Fc Fluorocarbon
I use it in 10 lb. for jerkbaits. Great line, it's easily handled some 3-4 lb. smallmouth and drum up to 10 lbs. It has a small diameter so make sure you set your drag accordingly.

St Croix Mojo Glass Crankbait Rod 7'4" M Vs 7'8" Mh
I can get you a custom glass crankin rod built at around the exact same price as the Mojo crankers, maybe $20 more. These custom glass blanks are way better than anything you can get in a production rod. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Does It Really Matter To You?
I don't match up rod color to reel color buuuttttt.......I get colored trim on all of my customs, usually blue, red, or green. I have Curado E's on the ones with green trim, Curado I's/Chronarch E's/Curado E's on the ones with blue trim, and Chronarch Ci4+/Cores on the ones with red trim. Then I have Hawgtech handles with the same color nut retainer and knob caps as the trim on my rods. They all look pretty great to me! To me it's easier with customs. For instance, I knew I wanted to use a Chronarch Ci4+ for my new jig rod, so I had the rod built with red trim. Then I ordered a Hawgtech handle with red nut retainer and red knob caps. And...cork knobs to match the split cork grip

Time For Custom Rod?
I'm getting one built on the Eternity blank here soon! I'm thinking 7'6" Medium Heavy for 3/4 oz jigs on ledges. I already have this same build just on a Revelation blank and I love it. Can't wait to try out the Eternity!

How Do You Fish A Chatterbait?
Half the time I fish them around docks/grass and the other half I fish 3/4-1 oz chatterbaits on ledges. I like them around docks because they are easy to skip to the back of the docks and if you can buzz it buy a big ones face a lot of the time they bite. When I fish them on ledges I take the skirt off and put a big swimbait on the back. Works wonders.

Missing A Micro Guide Insert....think I'll Be Good??
Most local tackle shops will fix them or have/know someone who fixes them. It is $7 to get one replaced and re-wrapped at my local tackle shop.

Picked Up A New Toy......
I just want to say that the last time I posted about a reel that I had with ABEC 9 bearings I had multiple people respond and PM me saying that they couldn't be real ABEC 9 bearings cause they should have been a lot more expensive. I had Dan at ReelEx put mine in and he is very reputable. I'm just surprised no one has stoned you yet for mentioning them in your first post. Because supposedly, they can't help any more than ABEC 5 bearings do. Or that's what I was told.

Blanks
This! I have some rods built on the RX7, RX8, and Revelation Rainshadow blanks. I put the Revelation blank on par sensitivity wise with Dobyns Champion Extreme. Not 100% sure on pricing but I'm almost positive they are in the $100 range if not a little less...Check with Batson!

Boss Jig Heads
All of Boss' jig heads I have used are awesome. Never used those but I'm sure they are great!

I don't ever throw them but you wearing them out on Gville Tim?

Profile Of A Curado 200I
They both palm great. The new Chronarch palms more like a 50E but the Curado I palms great as well, and is smaller in frame than the 200E series. At least they feel that way to me.

Finesse Jig Rod
IMO I would go with a medium heavy if you are choosing between medium heavy and medium. I throw my 3/8 oz jigs on a heavy/mod-fast if I am around lay downs or docks like you mentioned you would be fishing.

Is Sunline Fluorocarbon Worth The Money
Depending on technique it is. I throw Seaguar Red Label for all of my moving baits besides swimbaits. When it comes to bottom contact baits like jigs and t-rigs I throw Sunline Sniper FC. I find it more sensitive and has way better abrasion resistance than the lower priced fluoros on the market.

Kistler Pro Series
That would be the last rod I would ever buy then, seeing as I hate ham sandwiches...
