  1. I enjoy debate, but not immature name calling and personal attacks, such as when Dabnis was trying to tell other members "screw you guys" for not agreeing with his viewpoint. Although sometimes seeing blood isn't that bad, ;D
  2. ;D Everytime I see that dollar a word stuff I think of that guy...
  3. I am not upset that he harvested fish, I'm actually a selective harvest angler myself, I just dislike the way the guy comes on and says, "I'll post my kitchen shots whenever I feel like it, and you guys that don't like it, tough." Cocky attitudes don't get you friends.
  4. Because Brokejaw, that would require respect for other members and forethought, which this guy doesn't have at all.
  5. So, you're pretty much saying, "I'll post whatever I want, when I want, and no one's gonna stop me?" That's a way to make friends. Personally, I haven't got over the " Screw you guys. You can take me off of this site. I'll never post another picture on this site" comment you made yesterday.
  6. I heard about this last night...prayers to the families. :'(
  7. To quote Dabnis: "17 1/2 and a the 16. I know where the spot is..... You know what? You guys are sorry! NONE of the fish I bring home goes to waste. ALL OF THE FISH that I've caught over the past 2 months have gone to people who NEED and really enjoy the fish. Can't stand you judgemental scoundrels. I use to think this was the best bass website on the net. Screw you guys. You can take me off of this site. I'll never post another picture on this site. " Taken from http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1185977917
  8. Too late guys. This guy got banned, and he deserved it. > There's a way to respectfully have an opinion, but to spout stuff like "screw you guys" just shows immaturity.
  9. Here's to Muddy!
  10. Aw THANKS Muddy ;D
  11. Hey guys, I had a great time in Ft. Myers Florida this week. The weather was hot, of course, but I usually did beach related stuff in the mornings and evenings, and would go to shops and stuff during the heat of the day. Of course, I did some surf fishing and pier fishing in the ocean. Never got a chance to go after any famed Florida largemouth, but I did catch several saltwater fish. Here are a few pics. A large mahara bait fish. A blowfish caught off of a pier. A pic from Captiva Island, near Sanibel Island. A typical sea catfish. I caught about 7 of these guys. A typical whiting. I caught several of these, too. All in all, it was a great trip, and hopefully we can get back down there again soon. Thanks! -TF
  12. Go Glenn! Great job on the site and site move.
  13. Thanks guys, and nope Jimzee, those ponds are at a park near my house. Although the nearby golf course ponds are tempting... ;D
  14. I love those good shallow ponds for catching fish.
  15. I think pound for pound, it's the bluegill. Now, what would I rather catch? A bass.
  16. Sheeooot! Good fish, guys!
  17. Hey guys, Went to a local pond near my house and did some late evening bassing. I started off throwing a small floating rapala and caught this dink. After catching this guy, I switched to a small white senko, and I couldn't catch anything. After seeing some movement near my feet (I was bank fishing), I realized there was a medium frog. I popped off my senko and rigged up the frog. I saw a swirl in the water and I caught this guy. I caught another frog and hooked into a large fish, but it stole the frog and got off. Of course, all bass were released. The second bass had some slight blood on it's gills, but I washed it off and it was safely released. Overall, it was a fun evening, and I hope to get back soon. Thanks! -TF
  18. That's a great comeback.
  19. I was thinking someone made some up for the member's trip a while back... :-/
  20. I'll fix up a bologna sandwich with mustard, and then I'll take regular chips and crush them up and put them on the sandwich.
  21. Great smallmouth!
  22. Yep, I was considering doing that ;D
  23. I bet they don't have 10,000+ members. 8-)
  24. What a horrid site! Fortunately, it looks like it hasn't been updated in a while, so it probabl doesn't get a lot of heavy internet traffic.
