  1. Oh I have read his stuff. That's why I was surprised at this stuff. Usually descriptive and knowledgable.
  2. Whoa... Drama on the kc thread!!! Skunked... Trust me, we don't need help finding the fish... The proof is in this thread. Keep lurking though, we will provide all the reports you need.
  3. This thread has me so pumped for the Hilton Head trip in 3 weeks!!!
  4. Yup, Happens a lot with a bladed jig. Only thing I can guess is that they are really choking it and you are hooking them in soft fleshy part in the back of the mouth.
  5. 90% percent of the threads that get locked crack me up. So then when I made a post suggesting a thread for all locked posts and glen Locke it within 30 seconds and messages me saying "sorry I couldn't resist lol" I almost peed myself laughing!
  6. We fished it yesterday evening. Water was up a bit, clarity was slightly stained. Were really erring them on cranks on the mudline and grass edges. Popping frogs in the trash (and I mean way up in the trash) dominated after the wind died.

Those look freaking great! I bet will/do work perfectly.
  8. Had some buddies a few years ago fishing on the same lake as the classic. They caught fish immediately after a pro leaves. I don't think they really pick a place apart like most common anglers do. I've seen them many times pull up to a spot, make 5 (or fewer) casts and leave that spot all in about 2 minutes.
  9. Would make a hilarious video though.
  10. I haven't been out there in over a month. Bass are decent. Usually range from 1-2.5lbs. Biggest I've got out there is just over 3lbs. I'm sure there are some bigger ones in there. There are super healthy and fight bigger than they are. The keep the actual grass mowed and trimmed pretty nicely. I'm talking about grass in the pond. It gets stupid thick, but you can sure catch the fish in it, and over the top of it. It usually get's a pretty bad algae bloom on it as well (usually later in the summer) but it doesn't hurt the fishing any. Frogs, brush hogs, bladed jigs and wacky rigs kill it out there. If you get out there, post up a report. Of the fish, and of the amount of snakes you see!
  11. mFollowed by tossing them on the bank? Talk about a fish that can overtake a pond!
  12. I vote to try the roll cast too.
  13. Kind of defeats the point of the rig doing this.
  14. How do you report from the mobile version?
  15. Very very few spots to bank fish gardner lake. The few that it does have is almost always covered with stink bait slingers.Go try celebration park in gardner. Great pond if you can handle the grass and snakes.
  16. Exactly. If you get stuck, rub the wound on the belly of the catfish. Instant relief! Those old timers are smart! I still remember burning my hand roasting hot dogs when I was 8. Grandpa told me to pee on it. Thought he was nuts, but again, instant relief.
  17. I'm with A-Jay, I don't have a fishing problem... I have a work problem. Keeps getting in the way of fishing!
  18. Welcome to the madhouse!
  19. Top water, bladed jigs, 10" worms all work well. Fish weed edges, points and rocks.
