  1. Honestly made me laugh out loud!
  2. Like others are saying... Go to the vendor you got it from. That is the fastest way to get your optimum results. If you buy a gallon of milk at your local store and find out later on it's bad, do you return it to the store or call the dairy? Both will get ya what you want.... However the store will do it immediately..
  3. I bet! I'll have to get out there sometime. Love the jerkbait bite.
  4. Beautiful dogs!
  5. Lol... I must be LOADED then!
  6. Good video guys! Gotta love when your hand gets knocked off the reel around 5:50
  7. My favorite lake by far (big lake that is)!! I prefer the lower lake around the dam. I stay at the 2 MM but fish from the dam to 7 mm. Also enjoy the gravious. April for me at LOZ has always been about a 3/8 oz pb&j jig on shallow docks, chunk rock and pea gravel. Shaky head has been another killer. I will say, thanks to bluebasser86, that I now have a second favorite technique there. I had him tweak a color for me on his Big Head Wobbler (bladed jig) to closely match a green gizzard shad. He named it Kicker Shad. I threw it A LOT this October at LOZ and destroyed the 2-4lb fish. If it would have been a five fish tourny I could have easily had a 18-20lb bag each day (3 days) in the first 3 hours off of this alone. So... My 3 recommendations, 1. join bassing Bob a month before you go ( can do a 1 month deal for $10). I wasn't too impressed with the daily reports but the expert meeting videos (guides and lake pros) are great. There should be a good bit of info there as the big bass bash is in early april. I will be there twice in April and will post reports. (Union tourny and BBB) 2. PM bluebasser86 and get some of his jigs, wobble head jig heads and bladed jigs. 3. Enjoy the opportunity to be on the water with your father! Good luck bud.
  8. That time of year I've had good luck fishing main lake and secondary points and ledges. Baits of choice for me are jig, shakey head and probably favorite for there is a zoom ol monster in grape on a wobble head jig or a beaver bait on a wobble head jig.
  9. Depends on the land and location.
  10. Keep your head up bud... Thinking about ya.
  11. Hmm... I'll have to give them a shot. Got about a dozen of them. 3 new still...
  12. 5 acre pond managed excellent takes time to build trophy fish. Money also. (I look at my time as dollar signs) so you put that into this body of water and HOPE the worst never happens such as people sneaking in and bucket fishing, LMB disease, varmint damage etc... Put that same money into a boat and you have 1000s of fisheries at your disposal. Now in saying that, my wife and I will be looking to build a new house in the next three years. We will be buying land outside of the city limits and hopefully in the 40-80 acre range. If it has hunting timber and a pond of two, I'll be glad to write a bigger check
  13. Pretty impressive bud. Nice job!
  14. You won't be disappointed with the Springfield one seminars or not. It's incredible. Like seriously... Want to live in it! Lol
  15. Those do look pretty sweet though! What are they called through megabass?
  16. The old ones worth anything?
  17. Black on black for me. Followed by black skirt gold blades
  18. They are a great buzz bait and you are right... You get away from the ozarks and nobody knows what they are!
  19. Omega alpha buzz is a double that I use. Croc-o-gator head knocker is a single I use. Catch and grease is spot on with determine your situation for which to use.
  20. Between that and their defense covering brown very well. Bell and brown are their back bone.
  21. Maybe....???? Lol
  22. Solid info. I got a, what I can only assume, is a line through in a big lot I bought. I'll snap a pic in a few.
  23. We all eat crow from time to time
  24. Trilene. As stated above, if you can wait a day or two, walmart.com some red label site to store and live happily ever after
