Not an answer, but I recently bought a Savage Gear 3D line-through 6" Baby Bass. I was dissapointed to find the hook in the bottom of the bait, instead of the top as it is in the 8". I like the hook in the top so I can drag the bottom without geting hung, and I like the upper-lip hook set.

It is definitely not a 50/50 proposition. Boys run big time in our family. I am one of three and all of our grandchildren are boys. We did have some girls in the inbetween generation, attributed to miscarriages that were likely boys. (most are) If that is the case we would have had 4 boys instead of two and two. There are some unknown genetics at work. It seems likely that God has figured in the mortality of males due to wars and natural stupidity. After all, there would be no AFV (America's Funniest Videos) without young men! (and alcohol)

Nose down for suspending jerks is not a bad thing. As for retieing, most of us do not do it enough! Learn the uni and you can tie in less than 30 seconds. No big loop to put the whole bait through, as with the palomar! Keep your scissors or clippers hanging on your vest.

You should know fairly quickly. Here in SoCal, the temps rarely dip below 55, but frogs are generally a no-go in winter. We start seeing a frog bite post spawn, and later. Don't commit to the point that you get skunked. Read Dean Rojas for versatility ideas.

No flu. A cold that turned into Bronchitis, a nasty cough and a sinus infection. I was then diagnosed with post viral cough syndrome. They gave me an antibiotic for the sinus infection and whatever infection may still be in my Bronchial tubes. They also gave me Symbicort to open up the airways, and a steroid to generally help me recover. Sure hoping it all works! Yes, doctors here are prescribing Tamiflu for the flu. So far 17 have died with the flu here in San Diego. All had medical problems to begin with.

Get into an Urgent care or Doctor now! I waited 5 weeks and just went today. I kept saying, "I think I'm getting better". Now I have the meds I should have had three weeks ago. The fishes reprieve is almost over!!!
