Glenn, you and the mods have a difficult job and you have my utmost respect in the civil and equitable way in which you do it. I have never had a run in with anyone and I consider everyone to be a PM away from enjoying a nice day of fishing with a new fishing partner. With that said a very big thank you to you and the mods for a great site. :)

Man was it raining that day or what? I took the hottest shower when I got in, to try and warm up. I left the boat uncovered and hopefully the sun will dry her out this week. Good fishing Chuck, I hope we get to go out again, when the bite is really on. Hope you stick with that Jig fishing it has provided me with allot of success.

Welcome aboard Bass Tard, I have had a decent day out in the fall on that lake. I wasnt able to get out las weekend but I am looking forward to getting out sunday. hoping for a hot bite out on the home waters. Tight lines all, happy to see you guys sticking some fish....

I think its becoming quite apparent that the lifestyles we have had need to change. That also our economy will have a hard time with these types of fuel prices. We have had cheap fuel for a long time and our economy has been built upon having fuel cheap and readily available for that time. So when we have fuel costs what they are, things will start to go awry. I mean most of our goods are transported via trucking and at $4+ for a gallon of diesel, that puts a wrinkle in the system.

Now thats pretty cool stuff right there....

My view is that painfully nothing will get done or happen, any time soon. Why? because in my opinion there is far too much money to be made by too many important people.

Well bites are hard to come by for sure. what I got my most fish on were jig head with plastic, either a creature bait or tube. I also got some bites on a jerk bait with extra long pauses. hope this helps GL and tight lines...

I have been out the last 2 Sundays caught fish both days. This past Sunday was better than the first water temp was 41°F. I bagged 5-6 bass, one being the Smallie kicker weighing in at 3lbs 4oz. I also snagged a decent brown trout on a jerk bait was about 10-12in long. its starting to warm up cant wait to get out again.

1997 Toyota T100 201k. Going strong I am going to have to get some body work done on her. These winters with the salt start to catch up with vehicles up here. I had a friend who had a Toyota it rusted out beneath him long before the engine started to sound tired.

Its been a rough one as of late. This winter just doesnt want to seem to end. Fear not we will be out on the water soon though if not Im buying a barge and fishing off of that. ;D ;D

Yea, your in luck. I have a smaller Nitro and need a semi decent launch to get it out on the water. I fished Country Pond every so often and have had some success there but its the sign of the times no access...

Yea Im referring to Wilders Grove Launch. I wonder how far up the street it is until you can park? I mean Id just bring along a bike and lock it up at the launch. I wonder if its the whole road or what. I mean then if the residents have friends over and park on teh side of the road wonder if they get a ticket or not. The kick in the groin would be since its still a public launch that the state come in and stock it with publicly funded hatchery fish. At some point when they keep raising the lic fees the amount of accessible water in southern NH its not gonna be worth it. The other slap in the face is that nice lil Greenwood pond. I cant really get back there anymore either cept when they remember to take down the locked chain for the day care, its infuriating...

I'll put it this way. Northern strain bass can be caught through the ice. A Florida strain bass at the sight of ice would probably go belly up.
