I prefer izorline xxx it's a very good line. It sinks like Fluoro and has very little stretch , less then all the Fluoro I've tried. Trying to break the 15lb is like trying to break braid.

If your hull is in good shape and structurally sound I would repower. A used boat in that price range could have as many problems or more than you are right now and it would be back to ground zero.

Netbait makes the t-Mac in a 9" model I really like it.

Hey guys I'm going to purchase a few swimbaits for the first time and have a question. I have a very good musky setup a okuma Komodo 364 reel and okuma evx musky rod. On this Setup I have 80lb braid and of course use leaders for musky. My question is do you think 130lb Fluoro leaders will mess with the action of hudds and stuff like that? Don't want to spool up with co-poly or something and I don't want to tie on a 25lb leader. I would like to be able to go from hudds to 2oz spinnerbaits with mag 10 blades within seconds.

I think I rather spend $100 on quality lures. Stuff like this comes along and some people will sware by it but in reality it's a waste of money imo.

I always clean it off good with a q-tip then soak a q-tip with oil and go around each one. Don't know if this is correct but my reels still work great.

Why not both? Both can be fished on the same setup and you can use the same finesse worms for both.

Year round, my favorite time is middle of a hot day in the summer around shaded cover.

I use the boss heads and skirts can't beat them imo. The D&L jigs are good also, they are made here in Kentucky.

12lb izorline I wouldn't use 8lb for squarebills, especially around rock.

Your best bet will be to find reports from Dave Stewart. He is the best guide on KY lake and posts a report at least once a week sometimes daily. His website is www.kentuckylakeguide.com go here and you can see recent reports ad well as old. My advice is go through the old reports for April and try to figure a pattern out.

Don't know if your dead set on those two brands, if not I would go with a kistler or alx rod.
