I got a MHX fs904 kit to build for Christmas I'm gonna get started on. But I'm curious how the MHX Elite Pro Blank EPS90HF compares to it? My buddy might buy this rod off me after I build it and I'm gonna build another and got looking at the Elite series. Gonna be mostly running 3/4oz with it. Is there any other rod blanks you guys suggest? Ive got around 100-150 to spend on a blank.

I did mine and it wasn't bad I just lowered the motor on a piece of wood loosened the bolts up and did one side at a time. I currently have a set of sandwich plates I'm gonna be listing for sale also

Any of you guys with a z18 can you measure the height of your front rails to the rubber trim by the carpet. Wondering if the lox-r-bar and recessed deck lights work

I will get some pictures today I thought it turned out pretty decent for my first attempt. And no I did not lip him haha I didn't even wanna grab the mean thing. He mad my bass net look tiny. All 3 fish were caught on a Zman chatter bait on 15lb flouro

So as many of you know I posted before about getting into rod building. Well I never got around to posting pictures of the rod and still don't have great pictures but maybe these will make up for it. I had a blast on the build and can't wait to build another. Heres a few pictures of the fish I've caught on the rod though.

I printed off the placement chart I just wasn't sure on the guide sizes and do you have any problems running braid with the micros?

I'm looking at building a mhx fs904 for light duty flipping, what do you guys suggest for guides ill be running either 17-20lb flouro or 50lb braid. Not sure on the hole number and size of guide thing yet. Any input on the blank or one similar is always welcome to
