quittin' time came early today. Hit up the creek. warmed up to about 68-70 today, sunshine. Creek was at normal level, maybe a little higher than normal, had some rain this week. Fished a junebug lizard.....nothing. Stayed about an hour, went home.

Hard to forget. I remember watching the previous launch from my bus stop before school in Miami, yes, we could see it in the sky from that far away. We watched the disaster on tv in class, sad day. Watching the launches in school is a fond memory. Not sure if they do that anymore, need to ask my kids when they get home from school.

I'm really looking forward to it. Many of my plans fell through in 2015, did not get to go as much as I hoped for. Even thinking about upgrading from my jon boat to maybe a bigger jon boat...who knows. Can't wait.

Just keep at it, patience. I went out yesterday in Perdido bay with a friend. Got soaked and froze, not even a bite. Was hoping for some specks and reds, but got a goose egg for my troubles, lol. If you ever want to go to dreamstrike, let me know. I got a jon boat, good for 2 people.

hmmmm, and to think me and my youngest daughter have been messing around for weeks trying to solve this thing. Never could when I was a kid either. Cool video.

The old "hallo, this is habib" in your best middle east accent gets them off the phone pretty quick too.

haha, my wife got some of those calls last year...then we got them at the house, my house phone call block is terrible, and only blocks like 10 numbers, I wish it was like my cell phone, just hit block caller to every number that I don't know, which is most that call my cell. Everyone that knows me, knows I don't answer the phone, so nobody calls anymore. Except for the scammers.

was working up in Butler, AL today. around noon I was getting in my van ready to hit the road home and it was snowing. Sleet first, then the big flakes about 5 minutes later. Air temp was 37 and damp from that storm that rolled through last night.

Going to work on having more patience with a jig...I tend to give up after a half hour or so. Also catching something with lipless this year.

hit it up today around 11. Sun was up, beautiful day. Threw structure bug til I got hung up/broke off. Switched to a junebug zoom lizard. Nothing. Stayed about an hour, figured I would head home to get the leaves up in the yard.

hit it up after work today. For fun, I did try out a frog, that thing has got some action, and the gurgling wake is a bonus. No hits on it, but I'm sure when the season is here, it will be tied on my line first thing in the mornings. After that, put on a watermelon flake zoom lizard, got one good bite and missed him. Oh well. Try again this weekend.

went by today. Not much on sale, except some stuff nobody wants...Had some vmc trailer hooks marked down to 1.49, got them and a bama shirt for my boy. Got home and the trailer hooks rung up 3.49, not the 1.49 as stickered on the rack...I usually look when ringing up, but the checkout girl was cute, and I had to double take the $26 price on the shirt and totally forgot about the hooks...ya, they got me.

creek is down to "normal" levels. Hit it up after work, caught one about 1.5lbs on a blackberry brush hog. No other action. Better than nothing.
