Action has been terrible from the bridges this year. In the bays, good at times, but not great by any means, from what I hear locally. No boat for the bay, so I am stuck on the bridges. Last year and year before was good for the bull reds on the bridges. We actually had cold weather in oct.-nov. last year, not this year. sheepshead are about the only thing off the bridges right now, and they are hard to come by.

I'm thinking late Feb. early march. You let me know, I'm all for it.

Yes, even in Florida, we are sometimes stuck in the house. Up here in NW FL, we have had a lot of rain over the past several weeks. The rivers are still 5-10 above normal levels. The creeks are too swollen to even bother with. So, I got all this new fishing stuffs for Christmas, and can't do anything but practice pitching and reorganizing my tackle bags. Checking out the new tackle/plastic baits purchased, going to dicks and academy to buy more fishing stuffs. Went a little overboard....maybe. Got enough 5xd/6xd/dd22 for the next several years, same with lipless. It was in the 30's overnight here, chilly today. I'm a Floridian, 60 and below is cold, stay inside weather. But I am ready to go fishing, to the point, I would torture myself in sub 40 weather and 20mph winds. The more I can't go, the more I feel the need to buy more fishing stuffs I don't need right now. lol Anyone else with me on this?

I'm in the same boat. Don't catch many dragging a jig, I do on swim jigs. I am putting more effort into bottom jigs this year too. Good luck.

dicks had them onsale today...I bought one for like $5. Worth a shot. Gotta be better than the arashi.

Depending on the swimbait, I will use 4-5-6 size owner,gama ewg hooks. If I want the bait a little deeper, go with a weighted swimbait hook. I use different brands. The keitechs are money, at least they are here in Fl. and AL.

they are fat...but google/youtube panic pond in Georgia, I think they have them all beat. So fat, it just ain't right.

I used to...his "persona" kind of made it a chore to watch. Not to mention the intro is about as long as the show itself.

glad the new seasons are starting to air. One show they should axe is skeeter basschamps. What a waste of time. Total self indulgent 2 person show about....nothing. That guy was funny the first 3 seconds I saw him on tv, after that...I had to ponder what the heck is skeeter thinking? They must have to burn some cash before they file taxes.

Put your mind into something constructive. Something that will better you and your life. A skill, a trade, something. Don't waste the time in self pity. Getting over someone can be the hardest thing you do...or seem so at the time. Let it be your strength to push on, and come out ahead of the game. Good luck.

I have one of of sons old school backpacks. Keep 4 plano boxes in there. 2 hold plastics, 2 hold tackle/lures. Keep scissors/grip/pliers/scent in side pockets. I add plastics from my main stash when I need to "re-up". Easier to carry around when bank/creek fishing.

I keep them in original bags....BUT, I will take out a few of each that I want to use and put in a plano box, or a zip lock to take with me when I go fishing. I got tired of lugging around 10lbs of plastics, 3/4 of which I never even pulled out to use.

caught a bunch on those baits. Keep a pack or two in my bag. For those who don't use them....try them...

Clemson has a good squad.... but hard to beat the Tide in the big game. They usually take it to another level. (and I'm not a Saban chainpuller) Not saying impossible, just look at all the recent upsets. If I had $2 to bet on this game, I'd have to go for broke and throw it all on Bama.

We are headed up to Blairsville in March with some friends. How is the fishing in March? Probably rent a pontoon for everyone a day or two. I think we are staying southeast area... Thanks for any info.
