Looking For Opinions On My Website.
The navigation is a tad bit convoluted. I can hardly read the "scroll over" links in the center. People have been conditioned to the easy menus. I know I have. My preference is : >Menu item(Parent) >sub menu item(child) >sub menu item(child) >Jigs >arkie head >hook/weight size >football >Swing >whatever other you have Just an example. People are spoiled, and the science of what these big companies have done with their item menus is meant to find the product fast and hurry up and buy it. But the menu does serve a purpose for the person, to NOT have to look through 62 pictures of types of "jigs" to find what they are looking for. I'm not knocking your site at all, just offering some insight... Convenience is the key. Just think about how you shop online...If you are looking for a "flux capacitor"...if you type that in search, it might come up with many flux capacitors, and many items that are related to it, and you have to scroll through....pages...ah, forget it let's go to site "B" and see if they have it. The pictures on your site are terrific! I have ordered products from you, and have been satisfied with the quality. Just another idea...reviews and ratings...these are important, I like both. I wish TW had a ratings along with their reviews. Like amazon or newegg. Sometimes a site update or overhaul can do wonders. Good luck.

Bait Eating Trees
plenty of downed trees/branches in the creek where I fish, It loves t-rigged anything. Got a notion to throw a big grappling hook on a chain and drag that stuff out with my truck.

Saltwater Tournament
tide, and timing will be involved in your success. fish 2 hours before and after tide. That will give you a window of "luck"... Different baits, live pinfish, small trout, finger mullet or cut up a big mullet. Have patience. Wait for the drag to start screaming. I have better luck at night when bridge fishing, at least bigger fish anyway. The big bull reds should be en masse in your area right now.

Browning Knife
blade forums has an answer, or many. So many brands out there. I do shop bladehq and gpknives. You could find many dealers online, I had to quit buying knives last year...it was getting out of hand, lol

G3 Eagle Owners Here
Been looking at the g3 eagle aluminum boats. The 16+17 footers. If you have one, can you chime in on what you like, features...and what you don't like. Local dealer has a 166 2015 model trying to work a deal on. Hard to find any used, the ones I have found are 1 or 2 years old and less than 2k less than a new one. Not totally ready to pull the trigger unless it was deal I could not pass up right now. Just looking for some opinions from owners or former owners. Thanks.

Windy, Pre Storm Creek Fishin'
Decided to hit up the creek before the storms rolled in today...and before the work around the house. Pretty slow, water had dropped to normal from the massive rain last week. After about 20 minutes, I felt some weight on the line...the kind of weight you know you are hung up on something...was able to bring it on. Lo and behold, one of my d bombs, WITH one of my tungsten bullet weights still attached to the 5' of line! WIN! Can't beat getting a tungsten weight back after breaking off. Just look at what happens when a dbomb is submerged for months...lol Kept throwing my black w/ chartreuse tail zoom lizard, determined not to get skunked! I felt the slightest weight on the line, figured I hung up on another branch down below...so i let the line go slack for a couple seconds, pulled it a little...hmmmm, never felt a bite, then I felt it, slowly moving, set the hook, and brought in a nice little creek bass...about a pound or more. He choked that lizard, took a couple minutes to get the hook out of him, but he swam off very lively. A good day!

Florida Keys Charter Suggestions????
I took the kids on a trip with Tippler a couple of years ago. I personally would not recommend him. If you HAVE to know, pm me. I won't dog on the guy out here.

Florida Keys Charter Suggestions????
I use Capt. Pete Rapps(Bahia Honda) and Capt. Jeff Knapp (7 mile bridge/marathon). You will be on the tarpon, trust me. It will be ON!

Inshore Fishing Help
Tarpon do run up both sides of Florida, east up to SC, maybe even south NC in summer. They also run up the gulf side to Bama, LA, and TX! I probably would not target migrating tarpon on a 2500 series reel, but it can be done! Heck check out eposeidon on youtube, he catches 100+# tarpon on spiderman zebco's spooled up with heavy line off Miami beach...he's got some great videos.

Creek Bassin'
Hit up the creek this week. Caught a decent sized bowfin on a black berkley power bait worm. Nothing else the past couple trips, thought I saw a big sucker fish today in front of me sucking up mud... Threw lizards and some other stuff. nothing. Was hoping the bass would have moved up into the creeks...no bass for awhile. windy around 10-15 mph, sunny and 70 degrees. Headed home to do "chores".

C-Rig Lizards?
another vote for the 3/0 hooks. I prefer the gama's. Love the rage lizards, but expensive. Zooms and berkley's work great. Might try the zman lizards,

Public Vs. Private Lakes
A public lake about an hour from me produces absolutely nothing in almost 18 years. Another one 2 hours away has been ok certain times of the year, mostly dinks, some guys bed fish and catch the 10-13# fish. I have had no such luck. I do fish the creeks, and catch some 1-3# fish all the time, and not that far from me. I do go to a private lake a couple hours and 2 states away sometimes, only been skunked once when a BAD cold front came through the week I planned to go, I went anyway, knowing better, but oh well. Aside from that time, we always catch good bass 1-5# all the time. There are some 10# fish in there, I just stay about a 1/2 day and head home. It is catch and release only, but that's great for me. Ya, it costs $ but worth the trip for me. I'm not picky, as long as it produces, I will go.

Best Place To Fish For Red Snapper
October is good for trout, white and specks and some monster bull red fish. I usually fish under the pass bridge, bring shrimp and mullet. Bottom rigs rule there. Current can be brutal, catch the tides right.

Creek Bassin'
Went up today around 5pm. Not much action for awhile. Got hung up/broke off, switch to the structure bug, reeld all the way in, was sitting in the water in from of me...saw a bass honed in on it right at the shore and BAM, hit it like a freight train, and spit it out, watched it in slow-mo. Threw some more, got hung up and broke off again, tied on a white spinnerbait, this time a big ole bowfin hit it, landed it, he got hooked through the bottom jaw...he ended up flippin' himself off the hook, tossed him back and headed home with a victory. Better than doing yard work.

Bullet Swing Jigs?
Been using the standard non skirted swing jigs, and have been mostly satisfied...I still get hung up occasionally in brush and stuff. Thinking sometimes it has to do with the bigger jig head shaped more wide than long. Aside from the standard texas rig/bullet weight, anyone make a bullet swing jig? Prefer the bullet weights on lizards and worms, regular swing jigs on craw/creature baits. Some might say it's redundant to standard rig... just wondering.

Creek Bassin'
Hit it up this evening. Tied on a swing jig with a d bomb. 2nd cast got a bite...a little too much set in the hookset, came back with nuthin... no other action.

Input On Conditions...
Not much lock today. Shad were not busting. Threw some top water for awhile, nothing. Spinnerbaits, chatterbaits...nothing. Switched to a white fluke and hooked up a 12" dink. Had my daughter throw a senko at the boat ramp, she landed 4 before I got everything loaded up, lol

Input On Conditions...
Thanks all. I did buy a bunch of different size/color flukes awhile back, great time to try them out this weekend.

Input On Conditions...
a ton of shad in this lake. I have had the most luck with swimjigs and 3-4" swimbaits. I tried 5-6" a couple days and never got a strike. The smaller ones seem to do better. Also have had luck with drop shots and wacky rigs, depending on time of day and weather. Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it.
