No, still raining here. I think this morning was the first in almost 2 weeks we actually had sunshine. More rain forecast for the rest of the week. Aside from that, been working, no time.
  3. oh, guess I missed that. Sounds like you have a thing for han, so I will leave you guys to it.
  4. Did you forget about a guy named Luke?
  5. late to the party....but made it. I liked the movie, as an older, 1st gen star wars guy, it did seem a little "disney'ed" up in parts. I'm sure they will follow up with more character dev. in the next movie, just like the original trilogy. I hope anyway. FN seemed a little contrived...?( his story seemed a little far fetched) But did a good job. The new girl, wow, she was terrific. The ending with her standing there and the music...I hated it to end. She sure showed her ninja/force skillz. Can't wait for the next movies.
  6. I have no idea. But I would love to see some more pictures.
  7. uh, you camera skillz need work.
  8. Nice, looks slick as glass out there.

Got bored this morning...decided to head to the creek and see what's up. We have had a torrent of rain this past week, and I was not sure if the water would be too high. Well, it was worse than I thought, I could not even pull my truck off the highway, literally. The water was 100 yards on either side of the creek, might be a couple of weeks until it subsides, more rain forecast for next week. Guess I will have time to reorganize all the christmas fishing stuffs.
  10. trick worms, lizards and structure bugs are still working for me here in NW Fl. About the same weather.

  12. Had good luck with them, even in the creek. Keep trying.
  13. I went to South Dade and Redland, lived out in the Redlands. Small world, eh?
  14. Hit up the lake at sunrise. water and air were at 61. Did not mark any fish, and drove around a lot. Threw thw spinnerbaits/chatterbaits early. No takers. Went deep with the normans and 6xd. Even got jiggy for awhile. The bass were busting the shad early in one area, and ONLY in that area. After hours, decided to head out, loaded up the jon boat, and rigged up a wacky worm for my daughter, she always catches at the boat ramp, and that happened to be where the shad were. She hooked a couple. I decided to tie on a white super fluke. Starting catching dinks back to back. Was a tough day for fishing, wind crept up to around 10-12 for a short while, overcast all day while we were there. SO much for catching a hawg deep this trip. No pics....the dinks were not worth wasting a button push on my phone.
  15. If it feels right, do it. I would not hang up lacrosse gear, unless your grades suffer. Priorities... Stick with it, finish up your school while you are still young, and while you have the time/resources....before life gets in the way... Good luck.
  16. Some great info in this post. Going to try my lucky Saturday...lake gets to almost 30 in deepest...20-25 around a large area in the center. Got some new *** chatterbaits. Going to use them along with ratltraps and underspins...going deep. Might throw the jig awhile...maybe.
  17. I love cars. I love American muscle cars even more.
  18. couple different leatherman's. Forget the models...Keep it around mainly for the pliers. I always keep a knife in my pocket.
  19. Many of us have been in a similar situation. Nothing unique...just a different industry. Every person since the beginning of civilization has come across hard times, for whatever reason. Your final statement is one sided. As would be anyone's in that predicament...
  20. I'll pass on that logic of high gas prices....
  21. I use many brands and types. I like to experiment. Trick worms/finesse worms are working right now. Got a bunch of bruiser and tmac worms to use this spring and summer. I might have too many worms....nah.
  22. all year round in Florida.
  23. Bring my tacklebag with me in the jon boat, use one of my kids old school backpacks when bank/creek fishing...
