  1. I only got 2 last fall, gonna try getting some later today. Hopefully I'm a little luckier than you.
  2. my mistake, was thinking of the Max 3D
  3. st Croixs rods run heavy. Their MH is close to some brands Heavy rods, not sure you need a H
  4. I love it! Favorite co poly. But I got some Izorline for this spring
  5. A 1/32 ounce tungsten jig with two spikes through the ice!
  6. I wouldn't say it makes a huge difference, spiderwire isn't my favorite braid for that reason, Super Slick has a coating that makes it very smooth handling, one of my favorite spinning reel lines, I got a spool of Pline TCB braid. The cheaper one in the blue package, which is a 4 carrier and so far its fine, but time will tell how it is. 832 is a great braid, very smooth and soft, if I had to choose one for a spinning rod I'd go Power Pro or 832.
  7. Fished my new Max 3D last night and its a great rod, I would also like to try a Endurance to see how they compare.
  8. This was easily the most pointless thread I've saw on this site. Aside from the Mustad hooks thread.
  9. Haven't used this rod, but I'm sure it would be pretty much perfect for both applications you stated. Long as you're using mono.
  10. Pflueger 25 size. pretty small reel. Might have to buy a 30 for a 7'
  11. actually put a bluegill pattern jig on my max 3d, I'm not sure about the forage base in this pond
  12. 723 with a high speed Curado. I put a t rigged smallie beaver on it.
  13. I wanna catch a fish on my new Max 3D, dont know what to put on there.
  14. So I'm gonna fish a small pond. Water is pretty clear (6ft vis) and is about 10 feet at deepest. There are some big fish in this pond, the water is cold, low 40s, I was wondering what baits would be good this time. Shakey heads, jerkbaits, and maybe a chatter bait are what I'm thinking as of now. Any helP would be great!
  15. I'm fishing with a Mojo bass right now. Same blank as the eyecon, and I hate Fenwicks. I've had two and both broke, cheap guides and heavy. I think the 7' ML is a better choice, I'm just worried it wont balance well with my current reel.
  16. Looking at getting a new walleye rod, want to get another Powell, this would double as my drop shot rod, I'm pretty set on another Inferno, all I can afford right now, looking at the 7 foot Medium Light and 6' 10" Light. Which would be better? Also open to other suggestions!
  17. are those custom rods?
  18. Dont use vanish! I've had nothing but problems with it.
  19. Perfect finesse jig rod or dock pitching rod.
  20. I wouldn't say so, both low profile centrifugal braking casting reels.
