  1. My mind daily...maybe I should get a musky set up again? Wait I'm short a 7-6 spinner for saltwater maybe.....No wait. I don't have a 6 wt fly rod anymore and probably should...but I don't have a MH for the lilly pads on that one lake and what if I can't get them out of cover.
  2. Anyone else fish these? I want to know if they hold up to some use in fresh or SW. Thank you
  3. I am brand loyal for sure. I fish Daiwa, Megabass, Shimano, St. Croix, G. Loomis, Pflueger, and Lamiglas.
  4. I have fished and owned all the 7-6 models and yes it would work. These rods are so light and balanced that you won't even know your holding a 7-6.
  5. You'll like it. I prefer the Stradic, Ci4, and Ballist MQ over the tatula because they feel a little more refined but the tatula is a very nice reel. Just picked up a Vanford to try out. Still can't get over that name. They will have an astrovan coming out soon I heard.
  6. I fished UL almost all season just for fun this yr when I had a chance to get out. What a fun way to catch bass. This is also the same reason I do not prefer casters. I like the fight on spinning gear way more.
  7. I actually agree with this. I had 7' MH series 1 and for some reason that rod was just awesome. Never fished a better spinnerbait rod.
  8. They are also out of stock from a lot of dealers. Daiwa has been slow to restock due to the times.
  9. I love spinning gear. There...I said it.
  10. I stared fishing longer spinning rod models as well. They just bomb baits and if they are higher end they still are super light and balanced.
  11. hair jigs, grubs, small jerkbaits, small cranks
  12. These are all winners in my book GLX 842S - love this model Expride light plus, ML, I bet M is nice too Adrena 6-11 MH is nice. Locking nut loosens easily. Medium may be a better option for power.
  13. I would check out house brand rods from BPS, Cabelas, & Academy.
  14. Appreciate it! Too light for fishing treble hook jerkbaits like vision 110? I can't decide between the 7 M or the 7-2 ML and can't handle in person.
  15. How does the ML 7'-2" B stack up to the medium. I've read a few reviews stating this feels like a Medium in the first series.
  16. It does not have a transducer mounting point. I could buy an extensions or something for having it off the side. No need for side scan, budget under $500, not too picky just something that works. Thanks for the pictures Casts!
  17. Hey guys, maybe this has been posted before but looking to add a fish finder to my 11' pescador kayak. Looking to see if anyone wants to post their set up or what they recommend. Just looking for something simple for lake or pond hoping. Mostly curious how you attached everything and what you guys found that works well or doesn't. TY!
  18. I fish jerkbaits from a kayak, paddleboat, shore, bass boat, and beach. Just twitch to the side. Trolling as mentioned is a killer too for walleye and bass here in Mi.
  19. Shimano Expride MF Legend Tourney 7-1 MF Daiwa Tatula 7' M F Daiwa Rebellion 7' M
  20. I bought a new sustain 2500 and its really nice!
