Zodias or Exbride?
Expride. More sensitive plus its cork!

converting to spinning reels only
I fish 99% of the time with spinners and love it. No plans to change.

Crankbait, Jerk bait colors.
I love throwing different color baits but have to agree with the statement that most colors are to catch fisherman. If I had to pick one for jerkbaits it would be silver.

Shimano rod service
Every time I try to have a guides replaced or repaired locally the attention to detail isn't there. Most of the time they say it looks fine or slap some epoxy on it instead or wrapping it again. Sometimes matching the thread color is tough too. Especially Megabass.

Show off your Stuff
Sure are. Redfish are such a blast.

Karens & Kens confronting you when fishing!
I've been yelled at for unhooking my line from a dock post all the way up to "you need a flag on your paddle boat so I can see you while you fish". Been on a lake all my life and ever time I think I've seen/heard it all there's a new story. The guys that think they own a portion of the lake are always a good laugh. It takes a lot sometimes to just bite your tongue and keep fishing. Some people are worried about their boat canopy covers but on July 4th shoot 1000 fireworks all over them. Make it make sense.

St. Croix Triumph Rod — Medium or Medium Light
I actually thought the Medium in this line had a very soft tip for a medium but I would still go with a ML if you are wanting a bass/panfish set up. I fish bass on a UL set up often and its a blast. You could even go with a light model. Not sure if Triumph has one but I think premier does.

When fishing extremely tiny creeks/streams, do you find an ultralight setup to be more ideal?
I'd go after the St. Croix 6'-4" Light trout rod that just came out. 2 piece and looks sweet. I hope to pick up this model soon.

Surf spinning rod
Been buying a few of these recently. I have found that the 8' Daiwa Megaforce travel surf rod is awesome for the trips I take (snook and reds). I also will be trying the new Emcast line from Daiwa for shark and beach excursions. Daiwa Saltist is also a great rod for casting plugs.

Red Lipless in Spring
Great option for walleye and largemouth in cold weather here. I had one spring where I caught everything with a red redeye shad and a great fall with a Rapala Clackin rap.

Lipless baits midwest
Id certainly be trying it. Lipless baits work great here in Michigan in cold water. I will fish them anywhere that doesn't have thick weeds. Love those slack line hits when the bait is falling!

MH Spinning Combo Users ?
I fished a MH avid spinner for a while and loved it. I used it for lipless cranks and jerkbaits. Sometime bumping up to a MH is nice since some brands carry medium spinning rods that cant handle much over 3/8-1/2 oz.

New Tatula Elite Rods
I bet the 7-6 ML/M is gonna be a keeper.

Ultralight Reel
Shimano Sahara 1000 on mine. Love it.

Nrx vs. expride spinning drop shot
NRX and expride rods are awesome in both price points. I really enjoy the expride rods. I fished the expride 7' light + a few outings and it was awesome. I would personally go with a new legend tourney in 6'-10" ML or the 6"-10" ML in expride and get a sweet reel but that's all personal preference. NRX rods are great too but their pricing is getting crazy.

Just picked up my new Kistler
Shimano teramar XX or Daiwa Steez AGS 7-6 are great inshore options. Also own a Avid inshore 7-6 that I haven't fished as of yet but a super light well designed rod.

Shimano price increases
Just went this route on my last several rod purchases. I'd like to support USA products as much as possible. St. Croix rods are great and so is the customer service. Not going back.

Hard Jerkbaits : Bait Cast or Spinning Set Up ?
I enjoy spinning rods for this. I like the control and holding just the handle vs palming the whole reel with a caster. Enjoy the fight on a spinning set up too!

Which rod(s) pull (s) double duty?
The last time I fished it I used 110 jerkbaits and I believe some smaller cranks. It could be used for finesse or heavier application too. Its a sweet stick.
-
What tactic have you completely given up on?
spy baits, walk the dog lures, blade baits, 90% of all soft plastics
-
Which rod(s) pull (s) double duty?
Daiwa Steez compile 7-6. I think it does everything.....seriously.

Megabass Griffon
I have not tried the wake version but I have fished all the other models and they are my favorite small crank. They catch numbers and big ones. Elephants eat peanuts. The stock hooks need replacing.
