Casting baitcaster/weightless worms
I find that, in general, if I have more then about 6” of line out past the tip, my accuracy tanks. Do you guys notice a decrease in accuracy when you have 12” plus of line out past the tip? I think you will find with lighter lures the added length from the rod tip will not only help with distance but also accuracy. It's all relative to getting enough load on the rod while casting.

Comparing Some Jig Rods
From the rods listed I would recommend Hammer. I got rid of 2 Alx rods due to lack of sensitivity. I have a Dobyns DX that is ok considering I payed 1/2 price used but at full price I would be very disappointed in the sensitivity.

Falcon Bucko SR vs Dobyns Fury
The falcon bucoo micro trapcaster is one of the most versatile rods I own and works great for those techniques. Can't speak for the sr as I have never owned one but the feel nice handling them in the store.

Comparing Some Jig Rods
I have owned a few lews custom speed sticks and like the actions/sensitivity but not the reel seat design . I feel the cabelas rod actions are very similar to lews from handling them in store. I'd jump on the cabelas rod for $79 over lews due to the reel seat style but that's just my preference.

BaitCasting Reel Screeching at the end of the cast ?
You can putting a drop of oil on a q-tip and rubbing it around the brass colored brake ring on the inside of the side plate. That usually cures the problem on centrifugal brake reels. i wouldn't consider it a problem or fault with the reel. Some do it and some don't.

FAST action or extra Fast
I'd try the exfast for topwater. I had a mojo 6-8 fast and it just felt to slow to get the action I wanted for poppers and spooks. Try them both and see which feels best for you.

Lew' Over Shimano
Wow, you guys get your panties all bunched up over such small things. Life's short, fish whatever reels you like best.

Falcon rods ???
I'm a falcon junkie but I'm not a fan of the Christie rods do to the non micro guides. Bucoo micros are good rods for the money but the Christie rods I don't care for. And yes, I've owned and fished every rod in the Christie series as well as most if not all of the bucoo micro's casting and spinning.

Baitcaster Gear Ratio and Retrieve Smoothness
I strongly believe slower reels are smoother and gears also last longer. This is based on personal experience with 3 reel brands and it was confirmed by a major reel representative. The pinion on higher ratio reels has less teeth/less surface area and considering the added torque required to say deep crank with a 8:1 reel, that would equal more stress on less teeth.

Siebert Outdoors Story
What Color is this siebert jig? It's the first pic on the dock rockers but I don't see it where the colors are listed.

Frog Rod
Just watch out for rods that are too heavy in actual weight. Pay extra attention to make sure the rod isn't too tip heavy. A heavy rod will really wear you out if you work a frog for lots of action.

Siebert Outdoors Story
Mike has great jigs and even better customer service.

Jig vs T-Rig
Please explain. I am obviously missing the point as I have no idea what your point is.

Buff questions.
Probably is a side effect of face shape. My glasses fog when I wear one like that too.

Easy on/off casting reel cover
Tackle Warehouse covers work great for me.

A Skeptic Gets His Comeuppance (KVD L&L)
I've been down that same road with green pumpkin and L&L. Now I'm waiting for these $18 whopper ploppers to start catching fish. Lol

Rod vs reel
Rods make fishing more fun. Assuming you are using it where sensitivity is important, jigs, worms, bottom contact lures, etc .

Jason Christie Rod
I'm pretty sure all of his rods are from the Cara series. I've never seen any pictures of him using his $100 signature rods.

Team Lew Custom Pro variance
Spool tension setting, amount of lube and mag brakes will definitely affect the spin time but centrifugal brakes typically do not but that would depend on the exact type of centrifugal brake used.

Reel Fun on a Saturday Night!
It takes me an hour to completely disassemble all the way to the frame, clean, lube and reassemble a reel like that. It's a little quicker if I put all the small parts in the ultrasonic cleaner but I don't usually bother pulling it out if I'm doing a few reels at a time.

Just some of my collection
The first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem.

baitcaster for light plastics
I think he is just saying that high end or specialty gear isn't required for casting weightless soft plastics.

Finesse Jig Weight
Let's all make sure to use wrb's dictionary of fishing jargon so there's no confusion from now on.

Lipless crankbait rod
The best rod I've used is the falcon trap caster 7MH-MF. The bucoo sr is $99 I think.
