It’s all the same. Ya don’t work them any different. All black is really no diff than black blue in my experience. I’ve done just as well in clear water with all black and black/blue. It comes down to presentation.

Ill Use June bug on a black jig. Did it this weekend but I keep my colors pretty simple.

See I just fish the same colors in swim jig as well. Maybe I’m missing out? I can’t seem to get but on shad colors here. But our ponds pretty much have bluegill and pan fish. Never tried any of the red jigs

That’s dang near all ya need honestly. Atleast in my book. Sometimes I’ll substitute that’s black blue for all black.

I figured you’d say something close to that lol. Honestly if I have a greenish/blackish and a brown. I can probably get it done that covers hopping and dragging and swimming. And I’m not scared to scribble on them with a sharpie or spike it markers either lol

I wondered about the new gen model.

I’d say frogs. They miss the frog so much and just end up head butting it. I miss a good hook set. It’s just giant pain haha. And I don’t put enough time into it. Because I can have just as much top water fun on. A plopper or piper in my area. bladed jigs. Ughhhhhh I’ve caught a few on them. Caught a nice catfish on one lol. But I just can’t get them dialed in. I’ve tried for years lol.

I wouldn’t waste the money. Like said above. Get a quality jig with a quality hook. Siebert outdoors is the place to go.

These are the 7.5 speed. Which I’m fine with because I mostly bottom fish anyway. Lots of jigs and Texas rigs. I’d like to find a lower speed to have though. I should pop these apart and oil them though

I bought a couple of these a few months ago for $59 on sale at fleet farm. So I snagged the 2 they had. I have been fishing my Shimano slx xt and mgl70 this year. I’ve taken the lews out a few times recently. It is super smooth. I found it a tad. Finicky to dial on the brakes and spool tension to get a good cast. It casts pretty decent as well with a 5/16 jig and trailer. I’ve only tried mono on it. Not braid yet. How do you all like these reels? Find any limitations?

Very nice! I’m pretty bad about once I find what works I rarely change till it truly just doesn’t anymore. 15 years ago I was that guy who constantly changed colors or lures. I spent more time doing that than catching now I have a select few that I generally use. And that’s about it. Not that the others can’t and want catch fish. It’s just what I use.

I enjoy a moderate fast or fast personally. One thing to keep in mind as well is every brand is a lil different. None of its set in stone.

Literally whatever works in your area. Everywhere is different. Depends on the cover you have, water clarity, shade and sun. Soft plastics and jigs for sure. Throw a top water in there. Or go throw a stick bait and have fun! I’ve got all kind of baits. And I’m pretty dang proficient with any one I feel like using. But I throw a jig or soft plastic a ton! Because I can change how the bait is worked, its bulk, its rate of fall. Ya can do a lot with it. That’s what I prefer instead of dragging a million things with you.

Dang. They are one of my favorites. Everything about them and the baby d bomb. I buy any pack I see on sale usually lol That’s where I’ll be ordering I do a ton of business with Mike.

I’ll check those out I’ve never really used much by them. Always wanted to just never got around to it.
