Jig and trailer storage??
Trailers- do you guys all worry about trailers being stored true and flat? Say chunk trailers. So the tails don’t slightly deform like a fluke tail?? Or do you just throw them all in a bag? I ask because I bank fish and generally just mix trailers of similar color in one bag to pack light jigs- I’m just using a Plano 3600 and grouping them in there by similar color. What do you do?

Siebert jigs
Exactly how I fish a swim jig usually. Or the siebert sniper. I’ll hop them off the bottom short or long hops. Twitch them. Swim them you name it. The sniper cuts through pond algae sooooo welll. I bet it would do great in grass!! And it is addicting. I loved soft plastic fishing besides a spinner bait that was my confidence for years and years. A jig has replaced the soft plastics lol.

Siebert jigs
lol these are the best I’ve found. I’ve played with them over the years but first time I’ve gained confidence and had consistent results. All im throwing this year is skirted baits. I started with bitsy bugs and missle baits mini swim jigs. They catch fish. But man the quality and results of the sieberts are amazing.

Siebert jigs
Already made a second order and will stock up heavily when winter months come. That’s about all that will be in my box as well.

Siebert jigs
So I finally trimmed the skirts and ties on my first siebert jigs. I have fished an all black sniper 3/16 with a black and blue zoom super chunk jr. and a natural craw sniper 3/16 with a green pumpkin blue zoom super chunk jr trailer. Both are wire tied. The quality of these jigs for the price is unreal. The head design cuts through filamentous algae in my local ponds like no other. And if the knot or eye do catch some a quick snap of the jig generally clears it. I’ve swam them. I’ve hopped them you name it. And had amazing results. They flat just catch fish and look amazing doing it. I know many of you already know this about the product. But I am so happy and thrilled. I love fishing jigs it’s become my main technique and go to. And these have made it even better. They outperform the other jigs I’ve been using in quality and performance. Don’t hesitate to give them a try.

Light Texas rig rod
Funny you guys mention that. I got a quote yesterday to test the waters on a Daiwa ballistic 2500 and a balistic 2000 spinning reels I don’t fish anymore. Good condition. I got offered $60 a piece for them. But then they have to send me the label and deduct $15 for that. I’m pretty sure I could ship en in a flat rate box cheaper lol. I may do it to get them out of my way tho

Light Texas rig rod
I have the falcons low rider swim Jig. Bought it for finesse swim jigs and spinner baits and light Texas rigs. It’s a great rod and does exactly what it’s supposed to. I also have a Daiwa regular xt MF 1/4-3/4. Great finish and balance. But I think it’s a closer to a MH personally. A lil more of an all around rod. I’m considering trading it to American legacy lol

Finesse jig paddle tail trailer recommendations
I have a pack of menace. I need to just try them haha. I’ve fished them Texas rigged and that’s it. I’ve never fished a skinny dipper. But they are popular and great looking. That would be. Great deal. I’ve never fished the Tongan baits just see all the jokes everywhere about them lol

Favorite tackle box/bag?
I’ve been considering a bait binder type deal instead of bags in a gallon bag. I’d just want a smaller compact one That’s one way I do it as well 2 boxes and that’s it in my sling bag. I bounce back and forth between a box and gallon bag with original bags for plastics tho

Favorite tackle box/bag?
I’d try and post pics of what I carry but for the life of me can not figure out how to post pics. I used to be able to years ago. But since revisiting the forum it always says they are to big. That’s probably my next step from my chrap sling pack. Either a nicer sling pack. Or I’m gonna just use a back pack like I did years ago. The thing with me is tho the bigger I go the more I’ll carry. And I’ll never fish it honestly. So I have to limit myself lol

Falcon low rider finesse jig rod
Thanks man! I always wanted to try the 832. I always used fins windtamer on spinning and powerpro on bait casting. I do like the 12 pound mono for sure. Just don’t wana get into the flouro scene. Cost, treatment all that.

What lure(s) are dead last in your arsenal?
I couldn’t get on those or the spook or sexy dawg. Any of the walking top water plugs. I can fish a frog and buzz bait and catch fish. I’m not that good at it lol. But I can’t catch crap on the others lol

What lure(s) are dead last in your arsenal?
That’s how they have always been for me. But I still throw them. Trying the mini Max now Yepppppp I love them they are fun to throw. I’ve tried all kinda retrieves. I just don’t catch fish tho lol I used to throw them with a hula stik. I caught fish. Some decent ones too. But I lost more of them hung on stuff than it was ever worth. Ornery up pounds and pound of algae. I’ve thought of revisiting the weedless wide gap styles. But Mehh lol

Favorite tackle box/bag?
I’m a minimalist big time. And fish the bank. I use a bass pro sling pack. They are around 20 dollars. I can carry 2 Plano 3600 boxes or a 3600 and soft plastics in a big ziplock. I enjoy being prepared. But at the same time I’m that guy that if I start the day with a lure I usually stick with it. I don’t see the point and lugging pounds and pounds of tackle. And spend all day tying knots and swapping lures. But my ponds amounts of filamentous algae limit me. But I can usually run a spinner bait, bladed jig, swim jig, around or Texas rigged worms or creatures. Key is lightweight. So I don’t fish many travel hook moving baits except early on in the year. Keep it simple and have fun

Falcon low rider finesse jig rod
Literally exactly how I feel about the swim jig rod!!! It’s amazing even with a 3/16 jig and trailer on it. Sensitive, casts amazing and light. Although I like the tip and action lol. I’m truly impressed by falcon and will be buying more of them.

How’s everyone doing in the Midwest??
It’s been awful. I was just telling my wife I would like to have some time with no wind before it’s 100 degrees. Then we will be cold again lol

How’s everyone doing in the Midwest??
Oh man! That sucks. Good luck! I tried out a new jig rod and reel I hit for light jigs and Texas rigs this morning. Before work. But of course had 15-20mph winds lol. But it casted amazing! Got one small 1 pounder.
