  1. Mine is the casting. I’d love to try one in spinning. It does fish just like a MH if you ask me lol. It’s a beautiful rod. And handles and balances great. Just wish it felt more true to the rating.
  2. Oh nice! Good luck to the youngest! Yeah I only went for about an hour before work lol. Between work and my kiddos it’s hard to find more than a couple hours
  3. Oh wow! Yeah I’m near the Des Moines area. Wind has still been bad. Rain missed us yesterday. I went out this morning got some on an underpin. Nothing to write home about tho.
  4. Welp I have half the 200 yard spool left and it’s paid for lol. Figured I’d just try it on a combo that needs new line anyway. That’s all lol
  5. So since I started fishing invizx after making this post. I think it casts amazing. I enjoy the feeling of being connected to the lure and it is more sensitive. I will probably spool some other combos up with it honestly
  6. What a rod. Fit and finish is insane. Beautiful. Looks way nicer than a 99 dollar rod. The reel seat I found to be comfortable. I have the 7’ M 1/4-3/4 ounce model. But man I tell you it is like casting a broom stick for a M rod lol. If your aren’t 3/8 ounce within trailer or atleast 1/2 ounce. This thing is just not a wonderful caster. I really feel Like it’s closer to MH honestly. Anyone else run into this issue?
  7. One of the main reasons I’ve been tossing finesse swimming in my area. And hopping off the bottom and swimming it. Everyone throws a stick bait, spinner bait, lipless crank here. It’s something they haven’t seen and silent too. Not rattling and such or flashing. I agree it’s like they are conditioned to what we have now. This past year and beginning of this year was my toughest year ever. congrats!!! I’ve never tried a tube sounds like ya smoked em tho!!
  8. Sent ya a pm @Munkin
  9. That happens sometimes I’ve had that issue with jigs recently on dinks. Can feel them on it but they are just too tiny to inhale it. Keep at it. You’ll know when a bigger one bites. The thump is there.
  10. Wow! What a discussion!!! ok so I spooled up with 12 pound seaguar invizx last night. On my Shimano slx70 and falcon low rider swim jig rod. Went to the pond before work and threw a 3/16 siebert sniper jig. I love it!!!! casted well. Was sensitive low stretch on hook set. For the two smaller fish I caught. I really enjoyed fishing with it honestly.
  11. I looked at than at them in store. I like them. Dividers are better and one hand latch is nice. I have a 3600 edge I’m still not sold on
  12. I miss punching and flipping lol. When I lived I Florida I’d get my canoe out and use the trolling motor and just run the pads and car tails. Caught alot of fish that way
  13. That’s what I’m hoping for with finesse jigs
  14. Honestly never though to with flouro. I always have with braid though
  15. Won’t lie. I looked it up after seeeing people recommend it and on other threads I searched. That about of this bank beaters budget lol. I’d probably bird beat it first cast and be seen having a fit on the bank like a child lol
  16. Thanks everyone!!! Swung into bass pro before work and got a spool of Seaguar invizx 12 pound gonna spool it up tonite
  17. Thanks everyone. I doubt it will give me an advantage at all. Just trying to up my jig game as much as I can. I’ve always fished straight braid. And recently switched to mono and I like it a lot. But always looking for that edge to maximize my enjoyment
  18. lol Thankyou. Looks like I’ll have to pick some up tomorrow
  19. Thanks! Should have said it is casting reels!
  20. I’m considering switching my jig rod out to flouro. For the lower stretch and slack line sensitivity. I have never fished flouro except for a leader. Is it worth the headache and having to treat the line before fishing and all that? Or should I just go to a good 8 strand braid lol?
  21. So far I really like the zoom super chunk jr. and missle baits mini chunk. I have got some zoom fat Albert single tail grubs and some swim baits I wana try also. But the mini chunks kill it since I don’t always seim it but more hop off the bottom. And our eater here in the Midwest is still quite cold
  22. Thanks so much everyone!!! Glad I’m kinda doing something right lol
  23. Thank you! Basically how I’m doing it! And I agree I hate taking a trailer off because then it’s done lol. And well I gotta save where u can lol
