  1. Yes they will. They answered every question I had and spent the time to help me with a rod selection
  2. That might be the ticket!!! Looking at the profile and colors vs the quantity for cost. I’m gonna order some of those!
  3. I got my first falcon today. I got the 7’2” lowrider MH swim jig rod. MF action. I can’t believe how. Ice the quality is and the balance for the price point. Paired it with a Shimano slx70. Can’t wait to fish it. Got it for fishing finesse jigs, compact spinner baits, mini bladed jigs, lightness rigs and such.
  4. I actually have some of the menace I need to try vertical for sure
  5. Omg I fished doa paddle tails in Florida since I was a kid. How did I forget about them!
  6. Thank you so much for the detail. And I actually have some menace I could throw on there!! lol! Honestly it’s probably me and my mind. I’ve been rigging small swim baits on highways for years. I think it’s the weed guard and skirt throwing me off. It fits amazing otherwise. Ok have to give it a try! And the mayor is readily available in stores near me.
  7. Thanks so much!!! I’ll check those out
  8. I’ve looked all over several websites. And just can’t decide what is a decent paddle tail trailer in that 3-3.5 inch range. I have some crush city mayors in 3 inch I rigged up. But I’m not sure it’s enough hook exposed. So what’s your recommendation? Maybe some that aren’t $7 a bag for 5 either haha
  9. What do you do with the trailer? Do you find that they don’t stay on the keeper when reused?
  10. I know lol. I’m new to the Midwest from Florida. I get it. Just surprised how windy it actually is here
  11. Thank you so much for the explanation and help! I actually ordered a MH from falcon just a bit ago.
  12. Nice! So you get it! Yes it can I have a carbonlite MH that has a softer tip. It does ok. But my tatula xt medium honestly just isn’t up to the task
  13. What a crappy spring so far lol. I was hoping for great weather and great fishing
  14. Yea I will. And I have orders jigs from him. Yep hooksetnis important but so is the rod. I’m not throwing a 5/8 jig with a huge trailer into a bush. These are 1-4 acre ponds. Long casts and work the jig back so I can cover water. Midwest ponds don’t have much for visible cover to pitch to
  15. Thanks for the help. Didn’t mean to sound dumb. Just some things are designed but don’t perform the way they are designed lol
  16. I didn’t know that! Thank you! I mostly fish good mono 12-14 pound. And honestly that’s what i use 3/16-5/16 swim jigs with a light trailer. Ocdadionallly I’d like to be able to throw a 3/8 ball jig and trailer. Other than that it’s a 5/16-3/8 compact/finesse spinner bait or a mini max bladed jig in 3/8. And if in Texas rig it’s weightless of 1/8-3/16 max tungsten. I fish ponds and some of them are pressure so I like to fish more compact and subtle presentations.
  17. Sounds perfect!!! I found them in stock in the bucoo series
  18. I’m gonna go look at that one now. Think I’d be happy with it for what I’m doing?
  19. Honestly had no idea the customer service as so good! I’ll give them a call then. I really appreciate the help.
  20. No no. Not hi jacking! Share the knowledge. I get exactly what you are saying. I was just referring to my situation with hooks. Of course it’s never simple lol
  21. Hmmm so I’m not sure about some of the jigs I use then. The Missle baits mini swim jig. The dirty jigs finesse swim jig and siebert sniper. I know they all use a 3/0 but I’m honestly not sure on how to rate the wire thickness of the hook and relate it to the rod
  22. Ahh ok excellent point I didn’t consider!! I’ll check that one out!
  23. Back orders till September lol. But I can get it in the Bucoo series
  24. That’s great! Literally what I’m going for. I’m using a Daiwa tatula xt M that’s is 1/4-3/4 but man that’s a stiff rod for a MF for light lures
  25. Thank you!! I gotta go read that. I’m glad to hear that positive review!! When I stumbled across it online I was thinking man this rod is the answer. And I bet it casts well with light Lures. I was considering pairing it with a Shimano slx mg70 so I could really bomb small jigs
