I use vmc snaps. I like them if I’m fishing somewhere new and plan to change lures a lot. Until I get it figured out. Otherwise like them on jerkbaits.

Just got serious about jig fishing. Had caught a few on random jigs years ago. But I will say I have messed around trimming them a lil bit. And it seems to change the bulk and the action of the trailer.

Swung into bass pro before work. Grabbed some zoom super chunk and the jr size. Some Missle baits craw trailers in 3 inch and some 3 foot nah paca craws

What’s everyone fish for a trailer on the siebert sniper?? Brand and size

I ordered some snipers last night in 3/16. Went with green pumpkin, a brown craw color, and black.

The more I look there really are! I’ve been doing a lot of research. And I’m gonna be going with some siebert snipers for sure.

Yep I’ll be getting the site and figuring out what I need That’s my goal. Weightless plastics or Texas rigs have always been a confidence. I can catch them on other stuff. But I like plastics so I’m really happy to have some success on jigs

For sure!! I actually threw a Zman mini max around for a lil bit with a fluke trailer. Man that littlw bait zips around and yo-yos amazing. Just watching it in the water was fun. Would have been awesome to catch one on it lol

So I hit some time on the pond chain by the house this early afternoon. Yesterday I was near bass pro. So I stopped in. And looked at jigs. I grabbed a couple strike king bitsy bugs in 1/4 ounce. Figured I’m gonna break them off I’m gonna lose them. All that. So I went cheap and got a bag of zoom super chunk jr. I got 2 this morning! 1 was a good fish. I gotta pay closer attention they hit it on the fall and didn’t realize they had it till I went to hop the bait. So I need to watch the line and plan for the hook set. I was shocked how well the jig laid on the Moss on the bottom but rarely pulled any up. I’m hooked on jig fishing!!!! I don’t like the hook keeper at all on the bitsy bug need to figure out what good jig company is similar to those.

I was always a member of that and recently wanted to give mono a try again lol. Hadn’t used it for probably 15 years till now

Bingo. About 10 years ago I was that guy with a million colors. Now all I carry is watermelon red and junebug. Clear water. Dark water. Thats all ya need.
