Pflueger Supreme Vs Supreme Mgx
If I were you, I would go with the MGX. The only thing that sticks out to me between the two reels is the drag. The MGX has a XTX drag while the new Supreme has a oiled felt drag. The MGX drag for the 8230 is around 8-9 pounds and is really smooth. I have tried pulling line out of it and there is no "bumps" or "disturbances" in the drag pressure.

Best Application?
X2 except I use Mono for swim baits.

Weightless Texas Rigged Plastic
I have been using texas rig worm almost exclusively for the past year. One thing I have noticed is that for weights, bullet weights accumulate much more weeds then built-in weights. Whenever I fish moderate cover, I just rig a 10' worm with a 4/0 weighted hook.

Hi-Seas
The Hi-Sea's braided line is decent for a cheap price. I have of spool on it, and so far it has impressed. I can't talk about the fluoro coated line, but on TW they have reviews about it.

Probably a small flipping jig, or a t-rig worm.

Bps Revolution Low Profile Reel = Next Gen Pro Qualifier?
Yeah the Revolution isn't really a bass reel; the specs make it look like a possible striper or pike reel.

Can't Seem To Catch Any Fish During The Winter!
Fish much slower. You won't get as many reaction strikes in the winter, but bass are still opportunistic feeders and will hit lures.

What Hooks Do You Use?
VMC hooks mostly, cuz they are mad cheap. But I have Gammies and they are much better than VMC hooks.

Where do you exactly live? If you live in central jersey a good bet is Carnegie lake or the Manasquan Reservoir.

Pq'r After Market Drag Set ?
The tackle tour review for the BPS Pro Qualifier says the drag is terrible. I don't know if that is actually true though, as tackle tour is sponsored by Tackle Warehouse so there reviews are probably biased against in-house tackle.

Question Regarding Too Much Stiffness For Worm Set Up
Siege is absolutely terrible. I have 17 Pound test suffix siege camo and it feels like an metal wire. The memory is INSANE on the siege. The elite is supposed to be much more supple and so you probably should go with that. The siege has a coating that is supposed to make it tougher but also makes it have a TON of memory.

Rod Or Reel...where Do You Invest Your Money?
For worms and jigs, I like a nice rod. But for crankbaits and reaction strikes, get a good slow action reel.

Question Regarding Too Much Stiffness For Worm Set Up
Yeah for lighter worms like senkos and t-rigs a 7' MH rod extra fast action is the best!!!

St. Croix has a similar policy for their rods. Most of the time, the only way you get a discounted St. Croix rod is when there is a rebate or bargain room special.

What Are You Planning On The Spring Fishing Classic Starting Tomorrow At Bps?
They are talking about the Silver Edition PQ. The Silver edition was supposed to be a "special buy" and then it turned out to be much worse than the original. It was made in china, had cheap internal parts, and a plethora of other problems.
