  1. Frabill hiber net, compact and out of the way (no snagging), store in a rod holder.
  2. You said, after testing, you would need to seal all the holes, what holes were drilled or cut?
  3. They may not "learn", but they can be "conditioned". http://www.bassresou...sh-biology.html
  4. Owners St 36 or 41 are the only treble hooks I use, but when you say "add a stinger" do you mean add an additional hook? When it comes to spoons, I've been experimenting with single hooks, like you would use on a butterfly jig, with equal success.
  5. Boom! relatively short drive, and a fishing trip too... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/158806-fishing-boat-3200/
  6. I've switch all my outfits over to CXX, except my heavy frog rod, and a spinning outfit.
  7. You can score a pontoon, like a classic accessories delaware for around that, gets you out of the water.
  8. I usually would have said CL, but was surprised to see very few options listed in our area. I had one right down the street for sale three weeks ago, that would have been perfect for you, guy only wanted 2K and it was relatively loaded. Good Luck.
  9. Anything topwater, they don't seem to be picky.
  10. Smith or Native.
  11. On durability, on another website, there is a "How old is your Slammer" thread, where in, some guys have Slammers that are over 15 yrs old!(Money well spent).
  12. One on SU, in the Black Market for $55(Bloody Shad).
  13. Blue, what size Bull Shads are you catching your smallies on?
  14. I'm a CnR fisherman. It should be criminal to take a bass in excess of 14" out of the water. Instead, the geniuses in charge of management here in the state of PA have gotten it backwards, and have made it illegal(criminal) to take bass under 15". We are losing the most important bass from our waters, and they refuse to admit it.
  15. Every state fish biologist should read, or reread his book and subscribe to his magazine! Are you listening PADNR & PAFBC? Its time to stop the "Big Bass" program, and start establishing slot limits!
  16. I've had a Wake jr. and a Spro rat tied on for the last couple of weeks, with minor success, but after seeing someone so pumped to get their Slammer, I'm going to have to switch one of my baits out, and give it a go. Thx for the inspiration.
  17. KVD has an excellent video on this topic, and I took his advice. ; )
  18. I don't get to fish it as much as I like, but was wondering how many people on here fish the Delaware river, from up in the cold water north to the tidal south, and everywhere in between. What species do you target? I fish mostly Trenton to Easton.
  19. Never really had a problem with sb, you can try what the others have said, I'll just add, that I was having problems with helicoptering swimbaits and I realized I wasn't letting the rod do its job, was putting to much on it, just let the rod load up natural and not try and horse it out there.
  20. Right where the bend in the creek channel slams into that point, just north of it, on the left, where the channel has a steep deeper edge, and between the two islands where the secondary channel meets the main channel.
  21. Main forage? Then "match the hatch".
  22. So you're getting a ramp extension, so might be open in the near future, although some rumors going around that even then, it won't open up to private boat launching.
  23. Anyone think that weight would work as a punch weight using a craw or creature plastic? I know they make weights specifically for that "reverse hooked" punching, but I can never find them, or know what you call them.
  24. They're definitely not "early risers", I saw so many boats headed to the lake this weekend 7:30-8:00, that's two hours after sun rise, and way too late, and makes fishing a lot tougher. If you're going to be that late, you might as well wait until evening, and fish the sunset.
