Has Moss / Aquatic Vegetation Gotten Worse Over Your Lifetime?
Don't forget farming, increase in development, and the general increase in the use of chemicals in our society that continue to pollute our waterways. BUT, we must never forget that bodies of water go through a "natural" process, that eventually ends in their disappearance.

Official Bank Walkers Topic!
I've noticed this also. I once observed a "wolf pack" of 3 lb LMB following two channel cats that were rooting around in the grass. They literally followed the cats all over, hanging right on their backs, just waiting for something to scurry away. They were very difficult to catch because they were so focused and moving pretty fast.

Recommended Minimum Amount Of Line For Carolina And Alabama Rigs
65 lb. braid! That's heavy slop frog or punchin line. Like others said, you could down size line, and gain some capacity, although you don't have to worry about spooling out on a cast. I once cast an umbrella rig 80+ yards, of course it wasn't still attached to my rod and reel.

Pa. Fisherman
...and still promoting their "Big Bass" program! Yay! Let's remove the biggest bass from our most productive bodies of water. Oh, bummer! I can only keep four instead of six, darn! Guess that 11 lb. LMB record will stand for a while. They just don't get it!

Do You Need To Go To Collage?
I don't believe it! I heard "The Mighty SPEEDBEAD" was born of no mortal mother, but arose from the water like the God Neptune upon the fins of fish, a gift to fisherman and the world!

Fishing Alabama Rig
Baby BBZ Shads, BBZ Shads, Mattlures U2 Gill(or similar swimbaits). Plastics, Keitech Swing Impact(Fats mostly). Getting them back from snags is "relatively" easy, back from cast offs,or breaks, not so much.

Do You Need To Go To Collage?
I always wondered why anyone would want to become a professional fisherman any way? The last thing I would want is to have to "make a living" off of fishing, turning the whole experience into work, and the pressures that entails, is counter-intuitive to the reason why, personally, I fish. So,in short, if you have the opportunity, and good fortune...go to college(but work on your spelling first, the spelling-grammar Nazis will get you.).

How Do Freshwater Fish Get From Lake To Lake?
As an example of a way fish can get from one body of water to another...I fish a pond, former sand pit, that was stocked with LMB, and Crappie. Long story short, river over two miles away floods, and the pond now has SMB,Striper,Musky, and some Walleye.

Have You Tried The "chicken Rig"
Gary Yamamoto's "new" rig, Kut worm, center hooked, with a nail weight? ...or are you talking about the bait rig, which I've used, otherwise, I have not used Yamamoto's rig?

New Guy. Question About Early Spring Fishing A Pond
Like I said, possible, but not ideal...same goes for forage. "Ideal" situation you would have self-sustaining population of bait fish and blue gill, but every pond has natural sources...craws, creek chub, terrestrials ect...that could sustain a small population of bass. Possible, but not ideal.Put it in perspective, this "pond" is a lot bigger than yours, and it still has winter kill...http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/155664-some-bad-news-about-one-of-my-favorite-springtime-spots/
