That's your opinion and ur entitled to it but my buddies who use both get upset when my lews outcasts them.At 4.9 oz. My custom lites are nice and definitely worth the money. My bb1 is the best crankbait reel I've ever used.

Because doyo makes some really good reels.

Doyo makes reels for lots of brands. And no they are not all the same . I would stick with Lews. Which are made by doyo and are as good as it gets.

Get a shallow spool reel.i haven't used backing since drilled spools came out.

Get no fade braid and toss the marker.

Wrong.The signature series is made in USA. So is the patriot.the carbon lite is china.i would not buy the signature series because it went from alcpnite to alu.inum oxide guides.

I used to do it when the line faded. Now that I use Viscious No Fade Braid I no longer do it.

Vicious No Fade Braid is the best braid out there.

Buy a Lews tournament pro

I've used 8 lb flouro and mono with it also .I just don't use them anymore.

I'd get. A 7ft6 heavy casting and a 7 ft medium casting. Don't believe in spinning reels.a fourth would be bfs.

Flipping into laydowns and feel the bait being taken then the fight to get them out.if the fish is big it's even better.

I have to disagree. In the first placei wouldn't use anything under 50lb.the only time I've had backlash that bad is hooking something on a backcast.both mono and flouro would be done

They have the lews skip and pitch. They also have the custom lite shallow spool.And they have the bb1 for.crank baits and long casts.

Lews has already done that.

All lines backlash.flouro and mono get damaged from backlash. Braid does not. Braid casts further and backlash less.it is easier to remove a backlash from braid if you know how. Ultimately you control how many and how often you get them with your technique and what kind d of brakes you use.
