  1. I've used other lines and fished with plenty of good fishermen over the years. Based on my observations I think I'm going to spend my years from 65 up fishing nothing but braid. I've done it plenty of times and then someone says you won't catch fish on hard days. Well with over 30 years comparing braid and flouro I've come to the conclusion it doesn't matter. Bad days were bad days no matter which line I put in the water.so my conclusion is my Golden years will be spent using nothing but braid so I have less to worry about. And with the edition of No Fade Braids all the bs with markers is done with. Braid just fits me best.
  2. Denny Brauer Bill Dance Roland Martin KVD
  3. Why is 50lb braid ridiculous? On a spinning rod yes but on a baitcasting rod NO !!!!! You have a lot to learn if that's what you meant.
  4. You need to buy higher quality rods and use rod and reel covers. .
  5. I wish. Maybe if I wasn't married.
  6. Different body shapes. Different frame materials and spool sizes. Different brake systems. Different level wind offsets. Different colors.
  7. cool. 832 is good. yeah i dont think fish care either. the only thing that cares is my brain and my ocd.
  8. leader knots suck .i hate the sound through the guides. brother you should try vicious no fade braid or plines no fade braid
  9. get a 10 inch long 1 inch diameter wood dowel and wrap your braid around it and pull. problem solved. i use a 10 inch so i can put both hands on it to pull. either way its the best way to go
  10. Have to set hook hard with jig on short rod.suggest 50 lb Vicious no Fade Braid
  11. That makes more sense. The 2 heavy rods would be worm rods. The shorter one is more accurate casts. The 5-6 I assume has a pistol grip ? Good for close quarter spinnerbaits
  12. Never heard of a 5-6 heavy falcon bionic blade. The most I've heard of is mh and a bionic blade is a bass pro shop rod. .
  13. Any updates ? The line appears to be getting much better reviews now. They also make a no fade version.
  14. I used to like them but they weigh to much since I've hit 65. My newest reels are 4.9 oz and 5 oz except for my 6.7 oz. Bb1
  15. 1967 with an old zebco combo and a worm. Caught a 12 inch bass and that was it.
  16. Right before a thunderstorm fish go wild. After the front goes through and pressure drops they shut off. I've seen it plenty of times.
  17. There is no way mono is easier to cast than braid . The loose line is an almost backlash. It will take your thumb or more spool tension or brake. Either that or go back to braid.
  18. Never use less than 50 lb.i suggest Vicious no Fade Braid.
  19. Vicious no fade braid in yellow. By far the best I've ever used in 30 years.
  20. i keep some every year. generally under 5. all between 13 to 18 inches.
  21. It really makes no sense and should void the warranty. Why didn't you just warranty it ?
