I love Sufix Advance Mono.Its extremely low stretch and sensitive. Great abrasion resistance also.

6 or 8 lb Sufix Advance Mono.Super low stretch and handles better than flourocarbon.

That rating does not mean you can't use 6lb line. It's a spool capacity rating.its not a rating of what it can cast. I use a Lews Tournament Pro to cast 1/10 oz Ned rigs on 8lb line.

Smaller and more compact. 6 pin 27 position externally adjustable centrifugal brakes.l would also get the 6.8 to 1.i think it looks nicer. They are all good reels it's just my preference.

Pulled to 8lbs and it stretched 9.25 inches . at 9.6 lbs it broke at knot before I could measure it.Anyway possible you could test Sufix Advance Mono ? I'd really like to see how it compares under your test. I know it has the least stretch of any non braid I've used.None39 lbs of drag on a spinning reel with a graphite frame. That's laughable on so many levels. If it's true it's a recipe for snapping a neck.Which I would think would eventually knock out the insert.So far it's slow as can be. Can't get my notifications..
