  1. Well I guess you do not need to hear my weather report! ;D That may work out well for you fishing though, go hit it hard 2-3 days after we hammer em here in Iowa.
  2. 38-13 and the winner is...the guys in the wagon!
  3. Fish and hunt with new people. Catch an 8 lb bass. Finally get off my bass and take the LSAT and get into law school.
  4. Ha!!!! You think you got a good deal but I fooled you Every reel I sold you had anti-mook juice in the gears which reversed your mojo.
  5. Hasn't this been brought up before a couple million times??? About Hawaii, why should anyone have to sign a contract to be in the National Title game??? The best team in football is the best team. And I also have a hard time thinking that LSU, or almost any team is the best team in the nation. Ok people have bad games but no National Champ should get beat twice. Yeah they won some big games but national champs win them all! Either way I am sick of hearing and reading about LSU.
  6. Fantastic person to deal with, offers quality products and services, although I think my last 2 emails ended up in his junk mail :-[
  7. Agree that you have to protect your livestock, although cougars are not protected here and I would love to have an encounter, as long as I was armed and ready
  8. Your new name sounds French so you may as well give up now ;D
  9. No need for a fast or pretty car here:
  10. Good review Jeff, I am also looking forward to having David build me a custom rod that is also perfectly balanced with a reel serviced by him. I am hoping to have it by the time spring and soft water comes but I have yet to hear anyone complain of the service or quality that he provides.
  11. Completely agreed, although the Revo SC is even more convenient to use than the Revo S...although they are both great reels. Good luck with the new reel
  12. Spend 30 bucks and step up to the SC, if I had to do it all over again I would of bought 4 SC's on sale instead of buying the S at full price and a SX for 135 bucks. The SC is much easier to use than the S and there is no distinguishable difference between the SC and SX other than color.
  13. JIMMY(aka frogtog) what a gift, makes mine seem inadequate. I got a hell of a big tackle bag from Jimmy along with 2 hawg caller spinnerbaits in the perfect size and color(3/8 and white). A new bag was on my list too, as the old one is too small anymore. thanks again and here is a pic.
  14. Frogtog, its for deer hunting, the greatest thing I have ever used for pelvic bones and the sternum. Although I have used it for pruning twigs and branches in the bow stand. I will have it on my belt in the morning. I use my chain saw to cut the bones in deer. ;D Ah my man that is much lighter than a chainsaw, just put them on a scale! I would think the chainsaw and anus would be a messy combination :-X I could always scrounge up another gift if you want to exchange again, as I use those things like crack and always seem to lose them!

  16. I agree, but there is a certain charm about dumb girls. They are easier to talk into things. Always appreciated that attribute about blondes ;D
  17. I know they has a few body parts that are not for real!
  18. Ok I am getting my little brother a new shotgun along with an Abu Max reel for Christmas as he seems to fish the Revos fine but cannot fish a cheap reel. I want to find a place that will guarantee delivery by Christmas and has a decent price. Any suggestions?
  19. You should try hunting and fishing, the monkeys never seem to get off my back all year from new rods, barrels, scopes, guns, clothing....and on and on and on. It is a wonder the bankruptcy monkey has not set in, although I never let him out of the cage!
  20. Get a few sets of light dumbbell weights and then go to the mens fitness website and find some exercises to do with those light weights. Curls, squats, shoulder presses, there are a ton of things you can do with light weights(especially being a more seasoned gentleman who has come off of surgery) that should help to maintain and build muscular endurance and also help in the shoulder rehab. Therabands are also a good option for older or rehabbing people as you are less likely to cause any injuries.

I agree with PRock, when the enemy is not fighting and following the Geneva Convention rules then why should we. I am not a fighter by any means but my dad told me never to fight dirty, unless the person you were fighting was dirty. Thank God I have never encountered that but I still do not get where people feel sorry for the terrorist detainees.
  22. I really liked the DaVinci Code, believing his way of seeing things is up to the reader, but I thought it was one the best works of fiction that I had ever read. I also liked Angels and Demons but it seemed slow compared to the DaVinci Code. Fourbizzle, I tried to read the Wheel of Time years ago but it put me to sleep. I might give it a shot again since I have some time on my hands. The knowledge that he uses in his books is amazing and takes a ton of research, which blows me away for a fiction writer using so many facts. However, I preferred Angels and Demons to The Davinci Code but everyone has their preference. Digital Fortress was a good read but somewhat tough to comprehend with all of the technical terms and computer talk. My favorite though was Deception Point, I was wrong about half a dozen times as to who was the culprit and the outcome was no where near what I expected, except for the guy getting the girl! I just got a new book from my girlfriend which is Runaway Jury by John Grisham and looking forward to breaking into that one.
  23. I really enjoyed Dan Brown's books and also feel that the DaVinci Code was not even the best one. I am waiting for him to come out with another book.
  24. Finally got power back last night and got it ordered this morning.
  25. Beers go Coors Light, Corona, Saw Adams Winter Lager, Blue Moon, or back home the local microbrew has a Mississippi Blonde that is great. In the summer it is rum and coke and Kettle/Svedka and tonic/cranberry. When it gets cold the one drink to stay warm is a glass of glen livet on the rocks with a splash of water. However recently I got on a V8 Splash kick...have not found a bad flavor and went through 3 bottles in 4 days
