this, except we used the Yum F2. great stuff but it’s messy, leaves an oily, stinky film on everything in your boat, including your sonar screen. and dont let one get to leaking in your tackle bag! never again. make the switch to Megastrike. you wont look back.

fwiw, try calling your local water treatment facility (drinking water, not waste water). they constantly monitor raw (lake) water conditions, including temperature. as a general rule, temps on smaller bodies of water will fluctuate quicker than larger ones but should be within 5 degrees, or so, of each other.

second time out on Lake Norman this season under blue bird skies and a pesky, chilly NE wind. fished up the river, muddy stain and swt in the low 50’s. caught an even dozen pale spots on main lake and secondary points in 12-17 fow. this 18” spot was bf.

ok, so i went to see a neurosurgeon at the beginning of February, had an MRI, began physical therapy, and finally had my follow up with the neurosurgeon today. MRI showed a degenerative disk issue, minor bulging, and arthritis in my L4 - L5. therapy has gone well and my sciatica is minimal but still flares up. i haven’t taken anything for pain in almost a month. already being in good physical condition and active has been a saving grace for me. although i pay much more attention to core strength training and stretching now. so no surgery for me at this time and i feel blessed. i will be 60 on my next birthday. good back health to all of you guys.

ball hitches are easily interchangeable with a Reese style hitch if you already have a hitch receiver on your truck ( square tube steel opening under the bumper ). the boat trailer hitch should have the size stamped on top of it, probably 1 7/8” or 2”. the ball itself has a threaded tail piece w/nut and lock washer. some trucks only have a ball hitch mount (hole) in the center of the bumper.

the more i fish the more it confirms my belief that fishing is not an exact science and i hope that we never fully figure them out. i love the mystery and have always embraced the “sporting aspect” of catching bass. man vs fish. the quest is my addiction.
