i have some of them and have caught bass with them. i texas rig them with no weight. they have a coffee type of scent. it's been a while since i've thrown one though. i might have to dig them back out now!

September 1998, dont remember the rod or the reel but it was a baitcaster set up. the line was 12 lb Super Silver Thread mono. hook was/still is Gamakatsu 3.0 offset shank worm hook. unpainted 3/16 oz bullet and a 6" Renegade curly tail worm in Fall Pumpkin Pepper flake. i was fishing a roadbed when a small school of shad appeared on the surface. i threw in towards them, my line sank, stopped, then started moving off. she was 8.6 lbs and i have not landed anything close to that since.

early spring for me. we ususaly catch several 5-10 lb blues on t rigged lizards up here on Norman during the pre-spawn period. makes you think it's big girl at first :-/

yep, most recent was a spotted bass choking up a whacky rigged worm, hook, ring and all from way down inside there. It came out breach too. i kept the ring.

swivel seats done. ripped down some 3/4 pressure treated plywood, pre-drilled and countersunk all the holes, four coats of poly, stainless hardware and two old seats. gonna do the auto bilge next.

tell me about it. i sold my beloved Sea Nymph four years ago when i got my Javelin. little did i know that circumstances would cause me to by yet another boat in order to keep fishing my favorite lake. but fishing is my passion. i dont drink, smoke, hunt, or chase wild women....... anymore. lol

found me a jon boat! a 14' w/Honda 5hp 4 stroke and 40 lb thrust trolling motor and tilt trailer. gonna make some modifications before dropping her in as she will be moored in a boat slip on the lake. she needs a depth finder and a strapless cover for sure, as well as, seating modification. motor starts easily and runs like a sewing machine. i think i'll call her "June Bug". wife say's "no more toys mister!" imma happy boy
