Try a T-rigged creature bait all around and in the trees. Also, a frog and a buzzbait wouldn't be a bad idea in the morning/evening.

I prefer to tie direct to my baits. Snaps and swivels are just one more point of breakage to me.

How about a fishing back pack? Pick a size that would suit you and throw it over your shoulder when hiking the bank, or toss it in the boat when you fish tourneys.

Do you have any backing on the reel, or is it full braid? If it's full braid you might be getting some slippage of the braid on the spool.

On some forums I can hover over the thread title and see a few lines of what the Op typed. Is there a way to do that here, or a setting that I need to activate? I seem to remember being able to do that on the older version of this site, but I belong to a few other forums and might be thinking about those. Anyhoo, I like the option of skimming topic threads and seeing a little bit about it without having to click the thread to see. If it's something that isn't available on this site version, that's ok too, just wanted to ask if there was something I could do on my end or not.

H2O customer support? I'm not seeing anything on the package or parts papers that came with my reel. I'm assuming these reels are made for H2O by another reel company.

I had my reel apart for cleaning, had everything arranged how it came off, and had them knocked off the table(parts everywhere). I have all of the parts accounted for but when I look at the schematic for the reel and how it goes back together I have some questions that I'm hoping someone can answer. 1. I have 2 more washers than the schematic shows. I'm wondering if this schematic is a generic one for the mettle/motive and the motive is slightly different. I believe ( possibly incorrectly) that the motive has a stronger drag (lbs) than the mettle? If so, maybe the extra washers are part of that? 2. I'm having trouble figuring out how the spring washers orientate. They are slightly convex/concave. In the schematic, it looks like they orientate like this (). But I would appreciate it if someone can confirm that and that they don't go like any of these ways )(, ((, )). I can try to get pics if it would help. I specifically have the 10 bearing motive, but the mettle may be roughly the same. Thanks for any help. I put the reel back together and it seems to work, I just want to get it back together correctly and not damage anything that I could have prevented by making sure it was correct..

If so, how detailed do you get, and what method do you use to log them? An example would be, Caught a 4 pounder from the wind blown shaded side cove, at 10:15, on ** pond, on ** date, 3 days before a full moon, in stained water swimming a creature bait green pumpkin pit boss weightless T/rigged, ** water temp, Ect. Is this a good way to find patterns? I've never logged my catches and I'm thinking about starting.

I like throwing anything that I can skip up under the dock. My personal favorite is a T/rigged weedless creature bait with a nail head weight.

It's also a place to rib each other, have a little fun, and build comradery with each other over a shared interest. His LOL at the end was a dead giveaway that he was just kidding and having fun. The only reason I could see that you got so upset is that you're somehow offended that he had the nerve to joke about something that you own. No one is questioning the decision you made on reel selection, and no one has a problem with what reel you selected and own.
