    Welcome To Bass Resource!!!
  2. Kinda weird that last year he did a commercial of the new Heritage boat where he was having a heart attack. Best of luck to the world's best known fisherman. Hope he makes a complete recovery.
  3. Maybe they had a Ned Rig out. They just about fish themselves.
  4. Well looks like it's time to respool those reels and get the boat ready, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow. Only the 19th time he did not see it. Too bad he is only right 40% of the time. Got to go put another log on the fire. https://www.usatoday.com/story/weather/2019/02/02/groundhog-day-live-punxsutawney/2744360002/
  5. Not actually across of reed's. Dockery will be the first subdivision on your right when you get off 55. Since you have a kayak, you could kept on driving down to Crystal Springs and fish Calling Panther, big fish Lake, record is around 15ibs. It is a State Lake so you will have to pay to fish.
  6. Hey

  7. Welcome to Bass Resource!!! I live about 25 minutes from you in Byram. As far as a place to fish off the bank, I don't know of any real good places. I fish small like in Byram called Lake Dockery. I normally fish from a boat there but I have fished off the Dam and the west side. You probably will be disappointed if you try it but there are some good size fish in there. If you go there, try a Ned rig. Junebug when it is stained to muddy and pumpkin when it clears up. Barnett is good when you get your boat.

  14. My first thoughts would be to fire it up and try it out. I think I would really take it to a dealer and let them check it out and get it running. Since you got it for free, spending several hundred dollars is pretty cheap for a brand new boat.
  15. For the money, Bandits 200's are hard to beat.
  16. Blue, don't know if you crappie fish any, but these work great on a jig pole. I have a couple on my 11ft poles.

Mann's 6" Jelly Worm, purple fire tail.
  18. I believe these are around $80. I got them for $30 on ebay brand new. Took 3 weeks to get here but to save $50, I don't mind the wait.
  19. As they say, easy come, easy go. I am sorry that you lost your new crank. ☹️

  21. Really sad story, just wear it!!! Also for outboards, hook up that kill switch.
  22. Reel left handed for spinning and right handed for casting, just seems like the natural thing to do. ?

  24. If you want to keep it cheap for a while, get a Bandit 100 in a few colors ( I like Baby Bass, Tenn Shad,Chart. Crawfish) and get some Z Man TRD's ( I like Junebug and Green Pumpkin). Go catch a bunch of bass.
  25. I believe they changed them last year. Personally, I like them. I use to change them out but don't have to anymore. They also went up in price.
