Warranty - favorable or fiendish experiences
To follow up on my previous reply on my St. Croix warranty process which was settled today, broke an Avid X which is no longer available. They offered a victory at no charge except for $25 shipping or $110 credit and I could up grade to my liking and they cover shipping. I upgraded to a Legend Tournament.

Warranty - favorable or fiendish experiences
I’m in the middle of a warranty claim with St. Croix on a rod I broke several years ago, pulled a hog onto the bank tangled in weeds and snap. My fault of course, I contacted them and they said send it back on my dime for evaluation but I never got around to sending it back. They have since then changed how the warranty process works, I had to cut the rod and send back the portion that shows the model & serial number but still had to pay shipping no questions asked. I am more than happy paying for shipping both ways, in my case however my rod is now longer available so I don’t know what they will offer or if I will pay for an upgraded rod.

Home Storage for Rods/Reels
I made a couple of these a few years ago, doesn’t hold a tremendous amount of gear but it’s enough for an avid bank fisherman like myself.

Help Catching Big Bass in Small Pond
I’ve been Bass fishing & strictly pond fishing for 5 years and everything mentioned in this post so far is good advise. I fish dozens & dozens of ponds and size and quantity are all over the place. I’ve caught my biggest bass dragging the bottom, in the dirtiest shallow water, in shallow slops, on various baits and any time of the year. My experience has been if there are dozens of dinks then the biggest I’ve caught would be about 2lbs and typically any pond over 3lbs I really don’t see an abundance of dinks. One pond in particular I fished once or twice a year for 3 years and never got a single bite then one day I landed a 6lb’r, first and only fish I caught in that pond, go figure.

Looking for a producing spinnerbait on the cheap that also produces.
Caught 89 YTD, over 60 were using a shortened TRD with the spinZ. Strictly pond fishing, it flat works

POND FISHING WITH WADERS
Never waded in a pond to fish but I have gone in with waders to retrieve a lure and its extremely sticky/suction and not something I recommend doing but that was my situation your ponds could be different

Stradic ci4 model and pairing rod
I have the 1000 & 2500. I use the 1000 on a ML/XF but a ML/F will work as well. I use the 2500 with a M/F on finesse baits when I’m gonna be in vegetation. As for the rod, I’m a fan of St. Croix. They are/tend to be tip heavy but I only pond fish so I just deal with it.
