Today, I bossed around my fellow co-workers. These are the people that, theoretically, on same corporate level as me. Upper management got a wind of it and said nothing to me. I got tired of their sloppiness, laziness, cockiness, etc., so I finally snapped and called them out on it. The owners of the company looked at me, and walked away while my peers just stood there in shock. So, this is what it feels like to be a boss? Maybe one day I be a great boss as I feel nothing inside. The very fact I care about a company as a whole, and yet the bottom-line does not affect me in any way, must mean for something. I guess I care about whipping things into shape and achieving greatness without care for money, but rather the satisfaction of success and state of mind of a job well done that gives you a high feeling.. I don't care if my co-workers hate me or love me again, long as I know I made a difference.. Huh.. weird.. Guess I had to vent a little even though I never talk about work outside of, well, work. I was also recently sent to deal with a client, I guess you could say I was a diplomat at a business level, and man it felt great to be that trusted and respected. As i think back, society as a whole and human beings are strange breeds that are misunderstood. It's amazing, don't you think? If you get my drift, that is.
