when and why would you choose a shakey head over a t-riged worm? or vice versa?

they do not have bass tournaments in NJ during closed season. what i mean by this is they are not allowed to put the bass caught in a livewell. they are called paper tourneys and they only record measurements and then tally up at the end for fun. nobody puts bass in livewells now

what are some tips for skipping a lure under a dock or branch with a baitcaster. every time i try it get a birdsnest real bad... i cast the baitcaster god otherwise also

honestly up untill this weekend my biggest was 3lbs for the year. ive been out on the water saturday and sunday all day for the last like 5 weeks at least and didn't start putting fish in the boat consistently till the last 2 weeks which i probably got about 40 bass in the boat before that it was like 1 or 2 a day if i was lucky

the 4.2 came from Carnegie and the other ones came from this small place up north... tranquility was a pain in the ***. i didnt like the lake to much to be honest. seems like alot of small fish in there and way to many weeds that place is choked already. like 3 people who i guess felt they were almighty police of the lake complained to us about having an outboard on myboat even tho it was never put in the water and were bugging us about who told us we could be out here. im never goining back not worth the hassle

5lbs is a really nice bass around here. once in a while people do get 7's and 8's very rare to see a nine and the state record is 10.14

well hit 2 different lakes here in NJ this weekend and man did i have a good time. got 2 new personal bests on top of loosing count on the smaller ones. my previous personal best came last year and was 4.0lbs. Saturday was calm and today was crazy white caps but it didn't stop me and im glad it didn't. i also got an amazing fish on a 6" castaic trout lol heres the first PB breaker from yesterday she was 19.5" and went 4.2lbs 19" 4.0lb fish cought today and my biggun 20.5" and 5.0lbs The new PB!! and the amazing fish on my castaic trout

what type of anything do u look for before trolling or do you just choose randomly anywhere to troll and hope for the best

just get treated from the hardware store itll hold up at a least a few years maybe longer if u keep it covered

i find carp to be picky. you gotto get them at just the right time. i can go carp fishing 20 times but out of that 1 day will they be biting.

i dont get how he got the truck that far into the water???? doesn't even seem realistic....

i have never fished for stripers or hybrids before but now that i have a real boat im very interested in trying. theres are a couple lakes with hybrids in them and one or 2 with big landlocked stripers in them. how do i go about catching these fish. lakes range around 700-2500 acres goin 40ft depth. gimme some bieginner step by steps to go out and try.. i just started using jigs myself, i have a MH rod and 50lb power pro. 4 hits 3 fish. the one i lost was the first time i ever got a hit on a jig so i was surprised and i also didnt trim the weedguard but the next three were hooked perfectly. i think the braid helps with the perfect hooksets i seem to be getting and i trim my weedguards down also. i lay into em like theres no tomorrow

i just recently start using trailers and so far all my bass have been on the main hook with a solid hookset. only a couple small pickeral have actually come on the trailer. ill keep using it though just incase and i also agree with the heavy cover not to use them i get hung up alot with them on there

i have this lock thing that goes into where the ball goes and the lock that goes through the handle to lock in the ball also.

do the peacocks get big in florida like they do on those tv shows in like Venezuela

well never thought about it before but one lake i fish has alot of shallow flats with pads and the carp and bass are scattered all throughout it. alot of times ill cast and see like 4 huge swirls of them carp taking off and then ill lay into a bass.

how the heck would i get in touch with him? i dont even know where id start and from the looks of him in that pic from 17 years ago i doubt hes even alive anymore, not to be mean
