Shakey Head Go-to Baits
I almost always throw a straight tail worm on my shakey heads but I will occasionally use creature baits like beavers or Paca craws to resemble crawfish. I've seen people use minnow baits like flukes and what not to look like feeding baitfish also.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid On Sale At BPS
What is the difference between Ultra Soft and regular Hybrid? I LOVE Ultra Soft but I've never used the regular stuff. The Ultra Soft is more white than clear but I still love it. RW, do you still have that table with the actual breaking strength of Ultra Soft? I was wondering about the actual breaking strength of the 10lb and 15lb

Peta's Beliefs on C&R
Which is why they are impervious to traditional argumentative tools like logic, facts, and reason.

If you're gonna drive
I don't even remember being told about passing lanes in Drivers Ed. The only reason I know to only use them while passing is because my parents taught me well but other than that, I think a lot of people just aren't aware of the expectations and common courtesy involved with driving and the result is a bunch of ding dongs that I have to pass on the right or wait behind.

ACTUAL bad experiences with quantum reels
I handled one after handling a Shimano, does that count? ;D ;D In all seriousness, I've never owned a Quantum I've just never liked the feel of them.

Training is hard work!
I have never trained anybody for a job but I help my friends and family with schoolwork because I'm a pretty good writer. I don't mind helping as long as they try to retain what I tell them and take the initiative to improve from what I tell them so I won't have to tell them again the next time. My roommate is terrible at this. He asks me to help him with his papers and then pretty much walks away while I revise instead of trying to get better by listening why I do what I do. What do you do Burley?

Gran Torino
I think he's a good actor. Not great, but good. Although he may be a better director.

Cabelas
I don't know, Muddy. They had a lot of reels, but were missing many 2500 SHimano spinning reels that I was looking for as well as left hand baitcasters. Also, they do have a lot of G Loomis rods but not the best selection of St Croix or other brands. I was impressed that they had a lot of Shimano rods, but again, not as many models as I would have liked to see. I haven't been to the Harrisburg BPS but the one in Richmond has WAY more rods and reels than the Hamburg Cabelas. Although I have to say I did enjoy all the taxidermy they have in Hamburg. That was pretty cool.
- froggy setup whatcha think

Thanks to Bass Fisherman!
I just got back to my school apartment and opened a package that has been waiting for me. It was from Bass Fisherman and it had a thank you note for organizing the Christmas exchange. It included a variety of 3/8, 1/2, and 1 oz Picasso Fantasy Football and Spider Jigs and a couple packs of Netbait Paca Chunks! Thank you again, Andy. You really didn't need to do that but I truly appreciate the gesture and your fantastic choices. I really needed some jigs to work on improving that technique this upcoming season. You are a stand-up guy.

I have been quiet long enough!
Yeah, it sucks. I just scroll over the "Fishing Article" button and that clears the viewing area at least.

And then can ignore it just like I can ignore a bumper sticker... I sure hate when people use that silly old freedom of speech to express that even sillier freedom of religion...

The National Championship
I thought I just imagined that! He pretty obviously cranked Harvin's foot over, knowing he has a weak ankle. On a side note, that is now the second time Florida has run the option with the pitch going inside. That's a new one for me, and one that I really like to watch. Yeah, those inside shovel passes are great. They do that a LOT. I remember Urban Meyer running that play at Utah also. Great game. Florida's defense looked great, especially with the two goal line stands and great coverage in the secondary.
