yup, been to all those spots. There is one dude that cat fishes all the time at Port Republic and he takes all the good spots so I don't bother going there much anymore.

I generally stick with Copolymers. I just like the limpness, abrasion resistance, and thin diameter. I only use braid if I am fishing dense vegetation.

DTMJ, are you a fellow JMU Duke? I'm a senior so I only have until May but we can get together and fish if you would like. I plan on fishing as much as I can when the weather gets warm again. I haven't done very well at Lake Shenandoah and with the weed mats dying off now with the cold water I don't really know where you would start, especially from shore. I usually fish the North River in Bridgewater. I did pretty well down there when the water was warm. There are some good size pike down there as well-they may still be active. I honestly don't know of any water other than the rivers and Lake Shenandoah. Oh, and there's always Newman Lake on campus. There are bass in there but they can really shut down sometimes and become very difficult to catch.

It's just so sad to see our team play so poorly and basically give the other team the game. Our defense was terrible, but they haven't been very good all season. The difference was turnovers. We didn't punt at all and we still lost the game...Those turnovers just killed us. Without those miscues and Landers getting hurt, we would have won by two scores. I will root for Richmond for the rest of the way. They are a better team than Montana. I don't want to see a team from out west win the championship, especially when our conferences here in the east are so much stronger (5 of the 8 playoff teams were from the CAA)

I almost did the same thing by ordering stuff for myself along with the stuff I got for my Christmas exchange person. I ended up canceling my stuff and just ordering stuff for him because I didn't want to have to get the package to my house then re-ship his stuff to him.
