Alright, what if Texas and Oklahoma win the rest of their games (meaning Texas Tech loses to Oklahoma). Then you have 3 teams in the Big 12 south that have one loss and each loss is to a different team (Texas lost to TT, Oklahoma lost to Texas, and TT lost to Oklahoma) then who goes to the Big 12 championship?

yeah, I'm not sure about the big trout swimbaits but I would think you could throw a bluegill. I think the regular version only weighs 1oz if I'm not mistaken. The deluxe is almost 2oz though

I don't think I have any more to add between Muddy and Hookem's lists. Muddy, I like the nods for Lightnin' Hopkins and Son House, nice picks. Those guys are incredible on acoustics and I don't think I've seen anyone play a dobro as Son House did. He played very intensely and on some songs he plays solo but he plays so many parts that you can almost hear drums that aren't there. Apparently he introduced Robert Johnson to slide guitar but I don't know if that's true. I know he was one of the originals to do and popularize it though.

And 9 of those wins come from the FCS teams that Tech played. I haven't looked through but those teams wins but I don't think it would be out of line to expect them to be over other FCS teams. And another 6 are Rice's wins over teams that would lose to some FCS teams. Overall, I think it's pretty clear that both Texas and Tech have very weak non-conference schedules. If you look at Tech's games against other Big 12 teams, they have allowed an average of 26 points. Against Big 12 teams, Texas has allowed an average of 28 points. All I'm saying is that against teams that can be considered at or above average (which for these two teams, only their Big 12 opponents are really any good), neither Texas nor Tech has shown very good defense. You could argue that is because the rest of the Big 12 has good offenses but with the exception of 3 or 4 teams they just don't.

Texas has allowed 10.75 per game in non-conference and 27.4 in the Big 12. Tech has allowed 16 points per game in non-conference and 27.6 in the Big 12. Looks to me as though the Big 12 defenses work just fine on ALL of the other conferences..........and, of course, their offenses are working even better than that. :-/ Non-conference games? everybody's defense stinks? Texas- Florida Atlantic (3-5) , UTEP (3-5), Arkansas (4-5) , and Rice (6-3) . Texas Tech- Eastern Washington (3-5 FCS), Nevada (4-4), SMU (1-8), and Massachusetts (6-3 -FCS). So Texas' non conference opponents are a combined 16-18 and Texas Tech's are 14-20 (more than half of those wins were by FCS teams against other FCS teams) With those opponents, I'm surprised these two top ten teams allowed even 10.75 and 16 points to be scored against them...

Sorry Mayassa, I've been sick this weekend. I was barely able to go fishing today, I just didn't want to waste the nice weather and regret it later. Just not up for a long trip yet. Wow. Game ball to Harrell and the offensive line for giving him about a half hour to make each throw. Again though, are the offenses just that good or do they just not play defense in the Big 12? Not a put down, but it seems that a new strategy is emerging that focuses on creating offenses that score 40 a game to make defense less important.
