Great deal I found at Dick's today
Yeah, that is one of the Dick's exclusive items that are almost always on sale, especially in the summer. Same thing with the orange capricorns. They say they are on sale from a certain retail price but they are pretty much always that sale price

For the Revo lovers...
I just don't get it. Are they just culturally more inclined to fancy things, or are Americans just frugal? It seems like their products are much more modern design oriented than American versions

Want to stay up all night?
she missed a final and only dropped one letter grade?!?! that's great! I have had my share of all nighters but I never used anything other than mountain dew, which I drink a lot anyways. I find that short 30 minute naps work well also. Work for a while, then when you get really tired, take a 30 minute nap and set two alarms to make sure you get back up.

For the Revo lovers...
why would you want a rainbow colored reel? :-? No thanks. There are some sweet reels out of Japan though, too bad they cost an arm and a leg.

I have narrowed it down to these two
Out of the two you have chosen, I would get the Revo S. BUT You can pick up a Citica D for less than $100 now

POND FISHING: TRY FISHING FROM THE SHORE OTHERS DON"T GO NEAR!
Yeah, I have a couple of spots I call my "guerrilla spots" that require some trekking. I don't go to those spots unless I have the energy to hike through bushes, high grass, branches, thorns, etc.. But I find that a lot of the pressure at the lakes in my area are from live bait amateur fishermen who really don't know what they are doing. They seem to drain certain areas of fish but they won't go to other areas with better environment because they aren't serious enough about it or they are fine with just catching panfish, catfish, or carp.

What kind of bass is this?
it is amazing how the coloration just stops on those two first fish. It looks like there is a line dividing them in half between coloration and white.

hommade cork grip lathe
will the electric cord really hold the drill completely solid when you got something spinning on there? I would maybe throw a clamp on their to really sandwich it tight.

Prayers appreciated
That's what they did to me except I also had laughing gas, and I have to say it was kind of fun ;D Anyway, good luck with the job, you'd be surprised how far you can get just by working hard.

Daiwa Capricorn which one ?? and general opinions on Daiwa reels..
Yeah, the Dick's model is the orange one. From what I remember from working at dick's, they were one of those reels that were always on sale. They seemed decent, but I have heard about some durability issues.

World Series National Anthem
Just because I wasn't there doesn't mean I can't be knowledgeable about it. How does anyone know about Julius Caeser? No one was alive during his time but by all means there are experts that know almost everything about him... You yourself admitted in two different ways that Jimi was influenced by the state of America during his time. And it is a historical fact that the SSB performance was "controversial" at least. He was asked about it in interviews and it was seen by some (particularly those in the armed services) as disrespectful (and I have heard this from people who WERE alive at the time) From the interview it is pretty clear that he did the song as a reflection of the changing and turbulent "era" in the country's history. I'm not saying that is bad, I'm just saying he had motivations for playing it and given the context it's pretty easy to see why. I don't think he was taking sides, but rather summarizing the time.

World Series National Anthem
-Jimi Hendrix, tv interview after Woodstock Woodstock was in 1969, RFK and MLK Jr. Were assassinated in 1968, Vietnam was going on, and the Civil Rights movement was in full swing. I think that is the type of "era" he was talking about that motivated his performance.
