  1. 5.54 average score.
  2. I saw that an Indian ship destroyed the pirates flagship the other day. I don't think they will last very long. Once countries begin to be threatened enough (as is happening now) they will send navy ships to deal with it. One of the Marine Corps' first actions after the war for Independence was to defend American ships from Barbary pirates off the coast of Africa, hence "From the Halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli"
  3. Duh! Don't worry, I've stocked up on a variety of brands and colors and I will be fishing them diligently next season.
  4. haha, I will try my best. Hopefully I'll be able to convince my roommate to take me home to his house in Ashland and we can make a weekend out of it. That's what we did last year. If it works out, I'll be sure to be part of a BR get together.
  5. I have caught plenty of smallmouth but I can honestly say that I have NEVER caught one on a tube. I think that is mostly due to the fact that I have very little confidence in them and never use them. My favorites are soft plastic jerkbaits and shakey head worms
  6. Well it's not like Asperger's (autism) is any easier to diagnose. The one end of the spectrum of people with autism sometimes show very few symptoms or symptoms that could be other things or just poor social skills. and a lot of times, autism is combined with other types of conditions, especially ADD/ADHD
  7. The pharmectical indusrty itslef admits this is over used, and that ADT is often a misdiagnosis. The biochemistry of syapse tranmission is different in children than adults, that is why IT GIVES THE APPERANCE of having the oppisite, but none the less addicting I have been diagnosed with depression and ADD, they made this diagnosis when i got clean, well I was depressed I couldn't get high anymore. They have always wanted to stick me with one drug or other I have never wanted to or attempted to hurt myself, I cannot keep focused on any one thing for 2 long, and my brain is a carnival some days and a dark cloud other. I am able to lead a wonderful and grateful life without their drugs! The bottom line is that those drugs CAN be very helpful to people especially kids who really do have ADD. The problem isn't the drug, it is the doctors' inability or unwillingness to to be more strict in their diagnoses or to find a way to more accurately diagnose the disease.
  8. but when kids who actually have ADD or ADHD take Adderall, it has the opposite affect of the stimulants. The problem is that ADD and ADHD are such vague diagnoses that pretty much any kid can go in there and get a prescription and then turn around and abuse their medication and/or sell it to others.
  9. I haven't had any new responses until this morning. The list on page 1 is current as of now.
  10. Simon, I went last year and it was FREAKING AWESOME! They have tons and tons of small businesses with some cool products. If you go, check out Grandt Rods and Dave's Tournament Tackle (they were there last year, I assume they will be there this year as well). I'm not sure if I am going to be able to go yet but I sure hope I can.
  11. Congratulations! You want to hear about a streak? Look up De La Salle high school in CA. They had a 151 game win streak and the program was less than 10 or 15 years old when the streak started.
  12. I saw the clip of that congressman asking them about that and it was hilarious.
  13. wow, those limbs are pretty d*&$ parallel
  14. dudes...uncool.
  15. say whaaaaat?
  16. Ignored? That is not a word I would ever have used for Huntsman. That place always seemed even worse than Mercer to me, I assumed it was because the parking is closer to the lake than Mercer.
  17. from what I hear, they aren't much better than the Triumphs or Premiers...they just look cooler. If that is good enough for you, then by all means go for it, but there are better rods with the same modern designs for not a whole lot more.
  18. That is hilarious. I wonder how stupid the DNR felt when they got that letter?

I like the Brown Sugar Cinnamon toasted or the Blueberry or Strawberry (unfrosted) plain or toasted.
  20. wow. That bluegill's finish is downright unbelievable.

I could care less about the adjustable arm--that is a nice looking spinnerbait even without it
  22. RW said exactly what I was going to say after I read your post. Well said.
  23. Truth. There are rods that can do multiple techniques fairly well but cranks and carolina rigs are pretty much on the opposite side of the technique spectrum as far as optimal rod characteristics go.

I don't know what it could be, but if you could only find one crutch, try to get someone to go to a goodwill or thrift store for you. I know pretty much every thrift store I have been to has a pile of old crutches that would be pretty cheap. Having two would probably make it a lot easier to get around.
