Guntersville updates
Hot Maps Explorer? Pretty good resource if you're willing to pay for the HD maps. Yep. Haven't messed with HD yet. Still just searching for contours and wrecks and crap. I pretty much bought it for just the Potomac. I rarely if ever fish any of the other waters it has. Of course we don't have many big waters around here.

BL, you have a tournament there soon, correct? Looking at contour charts yet?

St. croix avid help
I'm not truly convinced that a one piece is drastically more sensitive than the same rod in a two piece version but if possible, I'd go with the one piece. In the case of a Corolla, it's definitely possible. Put the back seat down or rest the handle in the back seat and put the tip between the seats up into the front seat or dash.

Redlinerobert....
One of those watches is made from steel that came from the Titanic... It looks like it would be pretty hard to tell time with about half of them.

Question for RoadWarrior (Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra)
Agreed about the floating, disagreed about the abrasion. I tore some up in about 12 casts while cranking the other day.

Spiral guides on rods..
Spiral Guide Placement Spiral wrapped casting rods combine the stability and sensitivity of spinning rods, with the hook setting and fish fighting power of casting rods. In this configuration, the first three guides (double foot guides) will transition the line to the underside of the rod where it remains out to the tip. In this orientation, single foot guides can often be used in the tip section, resulting in a lighter, more sensitive tip compared to double foot guides used on most commercial rods. Spiral guide placement is physically the best guide placement for casting rods to minimize stress to the line and rod blank and to maximize sensitivity. * It eliminates twisting of the rod under load because the guides are on the underside of the blank. * It eliminates side-to-side stress on the guides that occurs with traditional casting rod guide placement.. * It can allow fewer, smaller, and lower frame guides in the tip section. This results in greater sensitivity and a crisp feel. Contrary to what you might think, there is no loss in casting distance from a properly built spiral wrapped casting rod. These are only available from custom builders... Try one and you'll never go back. Spiral wrapping works great on most bait casting, live bait, jigging, mooching, and trolling rods. Even surf rods and heavy offshore big game rods can benefit from this guide placement method. Notice, in this photo (click here) how the guides are placed such that, when the rod is stressed, the line only contacts the base or top of the guide ring. This is an example of a proper spiral guide placement designed for a specific rod and reel... something that you can't get from a mass-produced rod. http://www.kzreelrods.com/science.html

wow, sounds pretty frustrating but I'm sure it'll be worth it when you're out on the river this summer.

Drug Problem
Depression is a symptom of other conditions, but it is also an independent condition on its own. That is what we were talking about, not other illnesses like BD

Drug Problem
Wow, what an absolutely asinine statement from someone with little to no actual experience with depression. I guess NIMH are just wasting their time, huh? All of the people suffering with depression just need to think happy thoughts and it'll all get better. : Underlined for emphasis. I agree with him. Some people see commercials on tv about depression then they think they have the symptoms because they're having a crappy week or whatever and then they go to the doctor and get pills to help them with a problem that isn't really there. I don't deny that it's a real medical condition, I just think it's grossly over-diagnosed. These are real mental disorders, not an attitude problem. I don't think anyone doubts that those are serious conditions, but depression is a little different because it is more difficult to diagnose

Fluorocarbon and Spinning Gear?
In my experience Ultra Soft is lacking in the abrasion resistance department. Try a 100% fluorocarbon like Trilene or Seaguar Invizx. In the lighter tests both are more than manageable and very abrasion resistant. I think some people try the cheap hybrid or coated FC lines and don't realize how limp a good FC can really be.

losing my job...
I would start going to school board meetings. See what might happen at that end. My high school had about 700 students. We had a principal and 3 assistant principals the year after I graduated. I don't get it either.

english and spanish premier league
I can appreciate a soccer game, but I can't stand all the guys faking injuries. It's ridiculous. If some guy comes into contact with another guy and then takes a dive I either vomit with rage or change immediately to something with higher quality acting. I don't know why, it just really, really bothers me and it happens ALL the time, especially with those trillionaire Euro leagues.
