BPS Lures?
My brother just ordered two kits. The blue shad color one looks to be the best. They are good for the price. The hooks are good as well. The finish on them aren't too shinny, if that counts for anything. I caught a small bass on a one and so did he. Most of them have a tight wobble and are more on the slim side. Only a few were fatter. They were all about 3/8 oz. They cast very well and far and I assume it is because of the design. Hope this helps.

storm
I don't like them because I've never caught anything with Storm lures. Storm makes great looking lures but I can't get a dang bite off anything made by them. Maybe I'll change my mind once I finally catch something with them.

what lures for walking the dog
I'm new to this technique. I've read up on it a little bit and was just wondering if you guys could point me in the right way as to what lures to use. Also, if possible, can someone post a vid. or link showing this technique in action?

When do the 2007s hit the stores?
Do the prices of the 2006s get dropped? I was about to buy a Citica but I was waiting for the 2007s and hoping the price would drop. Thanks

Are Browning BC reels any good?
How do these reels stack up against high end Shimano's and Daiwas, etc. They are so expensive. How smooth are they? Is the quality of construction good? Thanks.

rare tiger trout
Thanks for the pics. Some very cool trout pictures lately. Are these tiger trouts found in the same places you would find rainbows, browns and brooks as well?

Albino trout
Wow. I didn't know such fish existed. Do they taste just like a ordinary trout?

what for bluegill?
You can use flies that look like spiders. I have one called "the bream killer." Wal-Mart has them. It works pretty good. If you don't know how to use it on fly fishing gear, put in a spinning gear and use a light split shot weight.

Am I the only one?
This is my first Thanksgiving without my family. I had to work and I'm off in school. Sucks man. Oh well, it's nothing a six pack can't take care of.

my line gets rough towards center/end of spoll
I've thought about this for nights now and can't figure out why. I have three rods spolled: 1 with flouro, 2 with mono. I have noticed that the line on about the first 1/4 of the spoll is okay. But, once I lose that line (breaks, etc.) the line towards the mid section and towards the end of the spoll are rough in texture, feels kinda like braid. I hate it. I'm wasting too much line respolling. But then, I don't want weak like either. You guys have this problem too?

Winter fishing. Slower and Smaller??
we add pork instead of plastic trailers, pork give more life to the jig in colder water. Pork as in bacon and pig fat? Serious question, guys.

Is steelhead a nickname for a large rainbow
Everytime I look at a Steelhead, it looks like a super sized rainbow. Just wondering if these are actually two different species.

Winter fishing. Slower and Smaller??
I do fish slower in colder weather. During winter, I switch over from the "action tail" to finesse worms. I use Zoom black/red flake in 7 inch and a shade of dark and light green in 3 inch. I fish them weightless. I have had bites on both. I have heard a lot of guys say they do use smaller worms in colder weather. But, it's worth a try throwing out a larger worm; you may get a larger fish. Can't hurt anything to just try. As far as crankbaits and the other lures, I have not down-sized them.

fiberglass vs graphite
what is e-glass?

line size for crankbaits
Any of you guys use heavy line for crankbaits? I don't exceed 10 lb but some pros are saying they use 20 lb. for cranks. I just can't see why that would be needed to catch bass. If the pros are doing it, I guess it must be working but I just wanted to hear the opinions of some of you guys too. Thanks.

fiberglass vs graphite
I believe graphite is the superior material of the two. Yesterday, I just watched a pro say that he uses fiberglass rods for crankbaits. The other guys on the dvd said the same thing as well. What do you guys use? Pros/Cons of fiberglass vs graphite? On a side note, are Ugly Stick rods fiberglass?

Crappie bite?
OK, so crappie DO bite in the fall and winter months? You guys said they come close to shore? I thought they only bite in spring and warmer conditions. Somebody give me the whole nine yards, please. Thanks.

What have you done to get a lure back?
I can't swim. But I've gotten waist deep in muddy lake water to retrieve a 1.79 BPS crankbait. Yes, I'm stupid. I've stood on those paddle boats while pontoons went buy trying to get a plastic minnow I got stuck in a tree. It's still there. Let's see, I've taken a rake out on the paddle boat to rake down floats that are stuck on the neighbors tree. Hhahah, that tree looks like a Christmas tree. I swear it glows in the dark. ;D My buddies and I have about 11 orange floats just hanging everywhere. I did apologize to the guy. Next summer, we'll have to find a new bream spot. When fishing for stripers near a dam, my buddies and I lose lures and floats all the time. We use tennis balls as floats for stripers and one time I spent about 8 minutes trying to hook a loose ball with a crankbait. Pretty creepy for a guy who doesn't swim. The drop off is like the great abyss, guys. We usually have to climb up beyond the "No public access" fence too. I'm going to start wearing a life jacket next time.

Horror movies.
The exorcist and amittyville horrer films are pretty creepy. For some reason, those films that were "inspired" by "true events" just seem to have a creepiness to them.

You guys like Hawgcaller spinnerbaits
I am thinking about upgrading my spinnerbaits. I have two $1 spinnerbaits that I got at Wal-Mart. I have yet to catch a fish on them. So, maybe if I upgrade to a better quality one, I might get better results. I saw the Hawgcaller and was just wondering if you guys have used it. What kind of spinnerbait do you use? Thanks guys.
